Russell Wilson just threw 300 yards for the first time last week. And he doesn't even have a legit RB like Zeke. So is Russell Wilson a turd?
Nobody tries to convince people that Wilson is a top 5 QB every week either.

It seems Dak has to be perfect on every throw or he's a bum. That's how some fans are wired.

He completes 24 of 28 the other night and there's 20 page threads here on the four passes he missed.

That's like dating the prettiest Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader and dumping her if you find a small pimple on her chin.

I remember when...was it 2014? Romo had a ridiculously high QBR and completion percentage, and a lot of people on the old Cowboys forum would say "that's what happens when you dink and dunk every play". I'd bet money that a lot of those same people are the ones here going on and on about how great Dak's completion percentage is.

Tebow still won more than Tony Romo ever did.

Russel wilson is the second best quarterback in the NFL.

The only true baby GOAT.

4 touchdowns on 8 passes yesterday.

Out of all the starting QBs in the league. If we put Dak on the block, we would have calls for Dak from about 20 of them. Please just stop. Put down the agenda and look at the numbers. The kid wins. Doesnt matter how.

LOL, no we wouldn't. Teams would love to have Dak on their roster....as a very serviceable backup.

Dallas could probably get a 3rd or 4th round pick for him. The truly desperate teams might offer a 2nd. Maybe. But that's it.

There are 10-15 backups in the league right now who are as good or better.

And 7 sacks, 2 fumbles, and led the offense to 13 points. Doesn't matter how many passes we complete if we can't get in the end zone.

And that is the 2nd dumbest thing ever written on this forum.

By definition the QB I posted for comparison on the 1 (one) deep pass had to be one with better stats and a better rating by fans/media.

I would not post that Brandon Weeden missed a deep pass.

Dak is not a dink-and-dunk QB unless you also consider Tom Brady to be a dink-and-dunk QB.

Yards Per Completion:

Dak Career: 7.4
Dak 2018: 8.0

Tom Brady Career: 7.5
Tom Brady 2018: 7.7

Not sure why you're comparing him to Brady, but I would say that yes, for much of Brady's career he has been dink and dunk to great affect. The 5 yard passes to guys like Welker, Amendola, and Edelman which earn YAC have been a staple for nearly a decade. He's certainly capable of going deep, but I'd suggest that many of Brady's attempts are short.

There's nothing wrong with that btw.

All they did was win.. That's all that matters. That's what I was referencing.

Prescotts numbers are horrible BTW.

Why would you use Tebow as an example when there are other QBs like Flacco that actually fit the criteria?

And no they aren’t horrible they just aren’t elite.

Russel wilson
Mahomes
Watson

Outside of brady these are the best quarterbacks in the league. Deal with it.

Watson is playing almost as bad as Dak.

I don't talk football with little kids.

To the ignore list you go.

Right or wrong Dak Prescott seems to miss more passes than other franchise quarterbacks. And unless I'm mistaken this is exactly how the braintrust views him. His resume isn't filled with great quarterback play that will allow him that type of latitude when critiquing him.... at least that's the way I see it.

You are definitely mistaken.

Every QB that has ever played long enough has missed deep throws, all throws. Taking one pass and trying to make a case with that is akin to taking one still photo and trying to make sense of the movie from that. Can't take single plays; have to look at everything. That pick Brees threw, that indicative of his game?

Comparing Prescott to Mahomes? Not even on the same field when it comes to passing. And never will be.

They definitely did the first 2 or 3 years of his career when he was passing for 100 yards a game at times and they were the best team in the league.

You also cant compare the offense they are in, the coaching, the Oline, or the weapons in the passing game.

Dak is driving a pinto and Mahones is driving a Ferrari. Switch the QB's and the play would be similar.

So youre saying Dak and Mahomes are similar? Lol no way in hell Dak puts up 30+ plus consistently like Mahomes does
