I think, ideally, Le'el Collins is better suited to be assigned to play at LG, rather than at RT. He would be far better inclined to succeed at that position, due to his limited lateral movement being poor to pass protect at RT. Of course, it then leaves the staff to decide what to do with Connor Williams.

Connor's slightly shorter arms may not serve him ideally at tackle but that's for the staff to deal with. There's little doubt but what he has the mobility and lateral movement to fit the bill there, though. Getting stronger and gaining bulk would also be a necessary part of that -- just a thought.
Every time I see this I chuckle. Because many of us on the boards said this but there was a very vocal subset that called people names and basically dogged people believing that Collins was a better guard. I remember possible "Pro Bowl" RT bantied about, Erik Williams part Deux. Etc.

This isn’t an argument - “crickets” would mean I didn’t respond, I did.

Are you mentally impaired? Stop taking your angry alcoholic fits out on members here.

“Prove it, girlfriend”

Dude, you’re just weird. Also, I referenced where I mentioned. You can go through the posts, i’m not doing the work.

Insane LOL
You've never done "the work"......your lips flap that's it.

You're the one who claimed Dallas was close to top five?!Liar.

I'm not doing your leg work..... balls in your court, not your mouth this time.....but actual fact you said Dallas was top five.

Again..... I'll wait......

There's no question but what La'el Collins is good when it comes to run blocking -- it's his pass blocking vs. speed and quickness that get's him in trouble. Unfortunately, that's something that shows up too often, with quite a few DEs having that element to their game. La'el's abilities pale in comparison to Erik Williams. Before Erik was injured, he was as good or better than anyone. That's simply not so with La'el as a pass blocker. He wasn't really good at pass blocking as a guard, either, although doing so in less space helped him to get by.

Give it a rest. Dak gets blamed for everything. Good gracious granny, can't everyone just enjoy the win. We get that people don't like Garrett, Dak, Linehan.

Dak carried the team to the play-offs as a rookie. The team had a ton of adversity last season. This year the team cut Dez, lost Witten and Frederick. The team tried to upgrade the line coach which was an obvious failure.

Jerry and Garrett fire the O-line coach.
Jerry trades for Cooper.
Dallas starts winning consistently with Dak as the QB.
Dallas beats the best team in the NFL.
Most fans enjoy their day and basked at how this team rallied as a team with all 46 players contributing to the team win.

Dak had a rating of 115.5 and completed 86% of his passes.

We did win, right? Am I missing something?
Sad how some people can get carried, but then silly people interpret as them doing the carrying.

This defense is masking our weaknesses on offense. It’s a look Cowboy fans aren’t familiar with rich traditions of prolific passing QB’s.

For years we had a QB which masked our weaknesses on defense to remain relevant now its flipped. Winning cures all ills.
I'll take the W, it's just a major concern I have that some will say it's fine, then when it stops working those same people dismissing the current issues will start to just realize we have had a problem all along.

Ok, how about this...

Can anyone deny that the Saints game would have been a complete blowout if Dak made 2 plays better. Hit Gallop in stride. Don't fumble near the goal. Do what he did plus those two things and the whole narrative changes. But he didn't do those two things. Oline didn't help him either.

Dak isn't awful. But in a nearly flawless game, the flaws you have are more evident.

If the offensive line plays a little better, and Dak continues to get a little better, this becomes a really scary team.

Let's forget about Gregory''s I'll timed penalties, that practcally handed a win to the Aints.

Dakota still won. Just sayin'.

And you're correct about the OL......pass blocking sucks and there is no pocket, most times, for Dak to step up into.

Collins lost his job at LG for a reason. He made a few pancake blocks, but he was bad on most of the plays. I can’t understand why fans forget this.

Give reasons he’a not. If you don’t, you’re obciously trolling.

You know you can’t because you have tried before, now you’re making middle-school like counters.

Doesn’t work. Next!
All you have to do is watch the last 4 games to understand why he’s not a liability and instead an asset.

SPOT ON....... DEFENSE PLAYING BETTER BECAUSE EVERYONE'S MAKING A CONTRIBUTION. NO ONE PLAYER CAN WIN ALONE!

i mentioned about a week ago, with some blowback, that our D is borderline top 5 and could heat up near the end of the season. I didn’t think they would look THIS good, but we may have just mentally broken the Saints.

LVE is the #1 reason for this, he has changed the entire way this defense plays, which is becoming far more aggressive with tackling and getting takeaways. While I’m still not completely sold on our secondary, Awuzie and Brown stepped up last night.

The offense is a different story - this is reminding me a lot of what we saw last year with the Jags. Yeah, it was great we dominated the clock, but we put up 0 points in the second half and topped out at 13 points.

I don’t like Dak, but there were some positives - that run where he broke two tackles for the first, that got me pumped up....then goes on to miss Gallup who would have the game clinching TD and proceeds to fumble in the red zone. You gotta make those plays, dude.

You can win a Super Bowl with the level the D is playing at right now - but the missed opportunities that we had last night and the turnover, most of the time great offenses will take advantage of these and luckily our D broke the Saints.

Some kudos needs to go to Garrett - I think he feels his seat pretty much on fire right now and he had this team prepared against the most dangerous team in the league. Jerry, see what happens when you don’t allow your coaches and players to ever feel they have job security?
Ain't NO promotion LIKE self promotion, Bro!,,,Although yer' far too wordy in footballish prose to " Ruffle the Roost of the @Risen Star ,,,ya, it's a safe bet he deems you a NON-THREATo_O

The Cowboys don’t win because of Dak. They win in spite of him. What Dak supporters seem to overlook is that others QBs could have this offense scoring on many more drives. Any decent QB would have be responsible for at least two more scores against the Saints. 13 points is an embarrassment for a pro offense. Please raise your standards and expectations.

I believe he was 24-28 for 249yds and a TD against the best defense in the league last week. Can’t wait until he improves his mechanics.
