I honestly was hoping to see what Dak could do without Beasley. No offense to Beasley, but he’s only affective in the slot which greatly limits playcalling. Not to mention, he’s been a ‘no show’ lately. Let’s be honest.. Beasley more than likely won’t be here next year being that he’ll command more than we should pay for a then 30yo limited slot receiver.

So, I was looking forward to seeing how productive a new combo of WRs would be. Something like..

Cooper, Gallup, Austin (slot) or..

Cooper, Hurns, Gallup (slot)

Personally, I believe bigger targets that have even a bigger catch radius would benefit Dak greatly.

Side note: this is the same reason I’ve been hoping the Boys would utilize Noah Brown more.

He's only affective in the slot because OC keeps lining him up there.... Have you ever seen him play wide? Nobody has because he's never been put there to play.. Not like it would make a difference anyway because Dak can't throw long and hit his targets anyway... Even the wideouts are used as slots...

Why wouldn’t he be available? Are his feelings hurt?

lol, he suffered a mild ankle sprain in that first down play toward the end of the game against the Saints. When they showed the replay in slow motion showing it wasn't really a first down, you can see exactly when it was hurt.

He'll be available for his one catch and his failure to return a punt.
He is constantly backed up inside his 20.

He is there becuz he catches well.

No because he is fast.

We still don't have a ST threat on the roster.

Maybe one day.

Maybe Earl Thomas can do it when he comes here.

This one
Cooper, Gallup, Austin (slot) or..

Austin gives us run/deep threat. Great complement to the rest of the offense.

I think Hurns can play the slot if I remember correctly.

Comments in this thread are exactly why I left for Hostile's site. So much stupidity here.

maybe J Lewis, isn't he already grabbing an play a game on offense, maybe they are grooming him and maybe Punt return is in his future..not this year hell need and off season to get used to this but its not unheard of for a CB to return punts and kicks..
