Rule of thumb. Every 100 yards should average about a touchdown. 600 yards = 42 points.
To be anywhere close to contenders this is the area we MUST improve.
Since we got Cooper, we are beginning to show signs on offense of our 2016 team. The biggest actual difference is that our offensive line can't give Prescott as much time to throw and Elliot as wide of lanes, simply because they aren't as talented and healthy as 2016.
Nonetheless we are proving we can move the ball. But no matter how good our defense is or how good they can play week to week (still have to prove on the larger stages how they will perform), our offense MUST start scoring touchdowns in the red zone and limit turnovers.
If we can do that, we MAY be able to legitimately compete with anyone. If we can't our luck is going to run out sooner rather than later imho.
