Which makes it even more interesting amid the speculation that he was traded exactly because he was the kinda guy that stops giving 110% after he gets a check...
Yep ..

He’s definitely playing for his next contract. We say this all of the time. Why is Cooper exempt from such rhetoric? Because he’s saved our season??

I like this kid a lot. He's stoic, quiet, and not excitable, sort of the same way that Aikman was. Even after he torches a defense and teammates and coaches want to celebrate, he just goes about his business.

Hall mark of a (future) champion.

Stop worrying about athletes off the field
This. I don't get why people even care one way or another outside of trying to be some morality judges. Do these same people overall care what the CEO of the companies they buy products from does off the clock? They care what they do workers do off the clock? I just don't get it and maybe someone can explain why it matters. I treat these guys just like I treat other people. Don't wish them no I'll but don't really care what they are doing either.

We’ll see how he does once we pay him next year.

Cooper got 15 mill at signing with the Raiders and has already made over 20 million in his career. He stands to make 14 million on the 5th year option next year.

Let's put the silly idea that he'll be lazy after he gets his second contract to bed. The man is a multimillionaire already.

Dak finally has clear above average receiver (I honestly think Gallup will be pretty good as well but they started working him in later in the year)
That is completely incorrect. Gallup has been playing plenty, (and) basically starting, right from week 1.

Most of us interpreted what you said as "lets see if he's motivated to play once he gets a big contract/paid".
Then you put too much into my post. I’m a cynic at heart .

We often call out those playing harder for their next contract. Why is Coop not subject to skepticism?

I’m a huge fan of Amari. He’s saved our season.
