Still think the 24-year-old Cooper is a “luxury” pick who isn’t going to help our future?
Until the Cowboys win a Super Bowl, every organizational move by Jerry ought to be criticized & evaluated on the achievement of winning a Super Bowl.
My standards are winning Super Bowls -- not 5 game winning streaks during the regular season.
Before annotating Jerry as the executive of the century, let's see the team in the "future" win a Super Bowl -- then maybe I will state Cooper is not a luxury pick.

We lose, & now pick selection No. 57 in the 2nd round (7 selections until the end of the 2nd round) is our 1st pick in the draft.

Some notable 57's in the last 6 years -- Brock Osweiler, D.J. Swearinger, Carlos Hyde, Rob Havenstein, T.J. Green, Zach Cunningham, & P.J. Hall.

Hawaii, WR John Ursua declared for the draft.

Has some injury concerns and is already 24. But man, would be a replacement for Beasley

It would be in the Giants best interest to lose tomorrow to stay ahead of the Jags in the draft order.

Watching more Hunter Renfrow. May be a bit biased as I’ve watched him since high school, but would love to spend a late pick on him

I got to attend LSU's practice today (they are in town for the Fiesta Bowl) and my 2020 draft crush is confirmed...safety Grant Delpit is very smooth, glides around the secondary like a gazelle, gets out of his breaks so clean and powerful. I loved Eric Reid and Jamal Adams at LSU, he's going to be just as good.

Basically a younger and cheaper version of Beasley.

If Michigan safety/linebacker Khaleke Hudson declares, I would add him to my small group of players I'd like the Cowboys to consider in the 2nd round. He reminds me of Landon Collins.

Another (college)linebacker/(NFL)safety hybrid who might declare is Clemson's Isaiah Simmons. 6'2" and 230 lbs, he's a redshirt sophomore who has put up big numbers this year for the Tigers defense. Spent his redshirt year as a long jumper for Clemson's track and field team (he was a two-time state champion in high school). You have to think he checks Will McClay's "athlete" box.
