Yep they did and more nickel.. and Dak didn’t score a single point. You get it now?

No you tried to say teams play single high bc of Dak so you was wrong on that... 2 do you not realize QBs don't get it done under this system... I can kill you off with facts... How many NFC Championship gmaes have we been to under our current HC even when he had Romo... *sniff*

Answer this question... How many NFC Championship games have we been to under the Garrett/Romo era... i'll wait *sniff*

0 and Garrett I feel has burnt out his welcome....but that still doesn't change the fact that our offense is in shambles primarily due to inept QB play.....Romo was 10 times the QB Dak was without this defense or our offline and ZEKE....you put Romo or Luck or any other quality QB on this team and ya were Superbowl bound....now sniff away I'll send you some tissues man....

Actually I am right and that’s exactly what I said. That’s how teams are playing Dak primarily. That doesn’t mean they do every single. Nobody argues on absolutes, so just stop that nonsense. Cooper and Gallup in the last three games basically scored on go routes because of this.

Just because a team decides to play some more zone or more nickel, doesn’t mean they it all the time. Just because you saw more two safety looks with the Colts doesn’t mean other teams did it. You also had the Colts throwing at least seven guys on the line and not even in short yardage situations because of Zeke, that they wouldn’t do with a legit passing QB. It’s clear they started to take Cooper more seriously, after the last three weeks.

You aren’t killing me off with any facts.

Whose denying JGs offense sucked in 2012?

Our offense is totally different now than in 2018. We have Linehan. We were last in the league in play action in 2012 and our most ‘effective’ offense was our hurry-up that there were discussions in the press that, maybe we need to run it more.

That was the year Jerry finally says changes would be made, which started the end of Garrett as the play-caller. Romo wasn’t even allowed in game-planning meetings until Garrett was relegated to walk-around HC.

Linehan might be the OC but we still run the same passing routes. There was a tweet from Brian Baldinger making fun of our passing routes a month ago. It was the same one we ran in 2012. I've posted a video from 2012 which looked just like the one Baldinger was making fun of. Linehan may be the OC but it's obvious JG is making him run his playbook or some variation of it.

The passing routes are still mainly single isolation routes where each receiver is expected to beat his man and for the QB to find the receiver who is open. This is why our passing plays take forever to develop at times. If the OL can't hold up, the QB will get hit/sacked. Romo was much better at finding the open receiver than other QBs we've had but even he got beat up a lot when our OL couldn't hold up. Especially by a defense that were good at blitzing.

0 exactly that's my point... Romo had many shots and didn't win... Ifs buts candy and nuts I could say give Dak a prime TO and Witten but guess what... 40 years a fan and you still haven't figured that out mane lol

One passing route doesn’t prove anything. They spent their time making this offense Dak friendly and they use Zeke more in the passing game than they did with any RB prior. We run some run routes than prior, and plenty more screens and misdirection.

Just heard Mr. 4th and Long say Indy RB Marlon Mack was picked in the 4th round by an orangutan. Is this true?

Woulda, coulda, shoulda. Nothing but excuses. Real teams, real contenders win on the road. They guys didn't even compete.

Bears have a legit HC and OC. Ours are garbage.
So the Saints and Rams aren’t real contenders? One lost to the team with “garbage OC and HC” the other only put up 6 points last week just because it was “cold”

I wonder what skips screen name is here.

Pops in takes the temperature of the fan base and reacts accordingly.
He and Will Cain Bith check out these forums. I’ve heard Will Cain bring up topics and stats that this board will post a day or 2 before

Romo’s Defense was never as good as this one WAS UNTIL TODAY.

Not true. Top ten D in 2007 and a good Defense in 2009, whose numbers compare to the 2018 defense and maybe even better in some cases. Also act like there weren't bad Romo games, where the D helped keep the team in it. Giving Romo a chance to come back and win.

Did Davis say it was a poor throw or did he say the throw allowed the DB to be able to punch the ball out?

Because Davis had a point. If he throws it further ahead, the DB then can’t punch it out.

Anyone calling it a terrible throw is being crazy but reality is ball placement by the QB allowed the DB to be able to make a play on the ball.
