*******es

I understand it's stupid but why dak and Zeke continue to purposely rack up this bill is beyond me. Superstition is stupid.

Dak is more follow the leader. He is only doing it because Zeke is. Blowing money and making peanuts is idiotic.

Zeke must have agreed to contribute to daks debts.

It's a stupid rule, like a lot of other code infractions - No Fun League.

What seems silly to me is Dak and Zeke agreeing to pay $13,000 per game to feed a superstition. The sleeves weren't why they were winning, and $78,000 is nothing to sneeze at in a sport where careers can end suddenly.

I can't imagine Zeke has any respect for Goodell, sure that has something to do with it.

Their shirt tails hang out sort of sloppy. I wonder if that's part of it. IIRC, Former Cowboys receiver Tony Hill is one of the people who reports uniform infractions to the league.

Zeke is already in too deep with Goodell in his young career.

Just gotta hope he cools it in the future.
Cool what, though? They're picking on him if you ask me. All he does is wear his hair wild, his jersey cropped and ball out every week to the point of exhaustion. He seems like a good guy to me.

I happen to know a person that enforces the dress code. The NFL employs a designated person who's sole job is to enforce the NFL's "beyond ridiculous" (his choice of words) dress codes. I think all the enforcers are former NFL players. He is walking the field during pre-game enforcing the rules and then spends the game scannng the field and both sidelines for infractions. After the game he goes to the locker room to make sure no unapproved logos are visible since there are usually cameras in the locker rooms. Most players are warned about the infraction and given time to fix it. If you've been fined, its usually because you chose to be fined. The players hate him and he knows it.

So was Byron Maxwell fined when he did it? If not this is a complete joke.

All fair points. But just because one is a nice guy doesnt mean he wont get into something 3-5 years from now.

**** happens.

Wrong place wrong time happens.

Just saying.

To be fair I get it. You don't want some team wearing neon yellow sleeves when their colors aren't even close to that, it would look atrocious and there is a point to look "uniform" in a uniform. But white? I feel like as long as it is one of your colors it should be fine, but if every team has a color that they have to stick with I get. I'm sure it's the same with socks.

Not like they didn't know they wouldn't get fined, so it's their money spend it how you wish.

You know what's funny here? A player can go out and get tatted up with literally anything, any language, you name it. he can sleeve his entire arm/arms, but you will fine a player for wearing long sleeves? I mean, this is insane. I'm not a guy who goes out and carries the flag for every little cause and I am certainly not a guy who defends Cowboys players no matter what but this? This seems incredibly stupid to me. There has to me more to this then just wearing long sleeves.

And what about that defensive lineman for the Eagles with virtually NO sleeves? Totally ghetto, it looks like a wife beater, for God’s sake! This is harassment by the league offices, plain and simple! Whoever says otherwise is in denial!

BS! BS! BS!

If I was Jerry, I’d pay it fifteen minutes before the deadline with jars of pennies!

Especially for a guy who makes 725k pre taxes/agent fees.
10% gone just like that. I know he has advertisement money too but still.
