Do we have problems? Yes, we do. But the other teams do too.

1. Saints have struggled since we beat them. They do not have a number 2 receiver and it’s coming back to get them now. Stop Thomas and Karmera and your in business.

2. Rams are a soft offense. You rough them up and they’re not as strong. 0-2 in their last 2 games. Their defense has too many players who think their the best in the league and that has never worked in the nfl. Look at the 99 Commanders. You next that mix. A good example is a guy like Woods on our defense. Not a stat machine but plays team defense.

3. Bears are the darlings right now like we were last week. They are playing well but they have to see if Trubisky can be the same guy in the playoffs on the road. Usually, a weird offense like theirs don’t hold up in playoffs. Their defense is very good. This is the team with the least amount of holes.

4. Cowboys. Yes, we just lost to the new darlings of the AFC, the Colts, but remember just 2 weeks ago this same team was shutout by the jags after having I believe the identical 5 game winning streaks at the time. We have the formula. We hold the ball forever but the question is can we get 7’s instead of 3’s or nothing. That’s our big question. I bet we left 40 points off the board the last 3-4 games. Pass protection is a concern for me too. The run defense concerned me this week but I think the Colts have the best oline in football and we showed up with no juice.

5. Seahawks. See us and the same goes for them. They control the ball but how many points can they muster off that like us. Different team away from Seattle. Solid defense.

6. Minnesota. They have all the pieces but they can’t seem to put it together. Turnovers, poor play etc have got them all yr.

I’m not gonna go AFC but I’ll say this about Dak, there are a lot of qbs struggling right now to score points.

Goff
Brady
Wentz before injury
Brees
Cousins
Ben R.
Rodgers

I think it’s a league thing and not a Dak thing even though he drives me crazy at times. If your looking for Mahomes or Rivers your just not going to get it. This years Nfc is going to come down to defense, lack of turnovers and which team scores the most points in the red zone. We have a chance. Win this week and take our bye week next week and sit everyone and let’s see how the chips fall.

Have you watched this team over the last two decades?

Never ever assume anything with the Cowboys, until it’s done.

This team is primed for an epic collapse. As SAS would say an accident waiting to happen. We are Wile E Coyote chasing the roadrunner.

And you use the word "darlings" too many times.

Hard to be an "epic collapse" at 8-6. If anything, maybe a "predictable collapse" but an epic collapse would be a 15-1 and or 16-0 team failing to reach the Super Bowl or win it.

You are right, and wrong.

Precedent is not in our favor, but we're fans, let's enjoy the ride and hope for the best. If not, let's pray that Jerry decides he has had enough of the NFL's greatest clapper of all time. Getting rid of Garrett would make this season a success to me.

Not too far off from us in 2016, sadly.
