Good morning Pops and those confused by what amounts to another Monday and Hump Day all rolled up in one.
Ole CC had himself an unique Christmas Eve and Day, all by myself except for my two hounds and they didn't get me anything for Christmas...….again. I give them money, the keys to the car and they return with nothing but whispers and chuckles. Next time I am following them.
May the glow of the season stay with you and love for your fellow man stay strong. Mine's good because I haven't driven in 2 weeks. That changes tomorrow when I go to see the man I allowed to bend, staple and mutilate me. It's staple removal day! I don't know why I keep going back to this man, all he does is hurt me. I understand women in abusive relationships better now.
Chest bump to Leon, stay strong and let others lean on you. Quickest way to begin to mend a broken heart.

Well, it's fixen to get cold here. Over the next couple of days and on into next week, we will see temps in the 20s and 30s as highs and in the low teens and single digits as the lows. Snow is also coming so it's going to be nasty, just in time for New Year!

Morning, Pops and friends. Happy Friday! I was going to play golf this morning at 8:20 but seeing that its going to be just above freezing I'll pass. There is a limit to my mania. Have a good day and I'll see Y'all on the flip side.
True story, @Xelda : When I was in grade school, lo those many years ago, the teacher was discussing the different weather patterns and asked the class to name a way the wind is beneficial. I raised my hand and said that it blows the leaves from your lawn onto you neighbor's lawn. She made me write my answer on the blackboard 100 times. Too bad we didn't have "copy and paste" back then. LOL

Good morning Pops and friends with no staples in your hips, I happily join your ranks. Ole CC is purring right along, ahead of schedule, and may end up with the most gold stars but who's counting. I am because I am bored and Hector is not keeping me entertained and I am sorry I gave him a name. Might be cooler if he was like Clint in the spaghetti westerns, the hip with no name. But too late, I decided that any body part, not a part of the original equipment, would get a name.
My favorite college football day is tomorrow and that is bittersweet. No more big games except for the finale and I prefer college ball to the NFL. I am struggling creating any buzz for the NFL playoffs. It will ne nice that the Cowboys are in it but I do not expect them to do much. Hopefully, I am wrong and we'll get more than one game but I am not counting on it.
