Some say Dak is elite and Saturday will be his chance to show they are correct

Dak faces one of three Dak killer defenses this Saturday. If he follows his normal MO he will hold on to the ball too long and fumble. His accuracy is inconsistent making for turn overs. He will be sacked a dozen times and may not make it through the game. If he does not follow his MO then we have a chance to win until we meet the Bears who have the second Dak killer defense.

Same thing can be said of our defense. For us to have a chance they also need to play better than they have been the past few weeks. It's a team game, it's not just about Dak, but how well the team plays as a whole.

Win or lose Saturday Dak’s “elite” status has no bearing on this game. While this is a playoff game it’s not the SB and winning a playoff game at home won’t give him elite status and losing doesn’t mean he will never succeed. Hey I am no Dak fan but throw out something real if you want to bash the kid. Despite his several misses and sacks yesterday the kid brought his team back yesterday and made the throws to win the game. Let’s enjoy the fact our team is in the playoffs at home where Dak typically plays at a higher level. Go Cowboys!!

I too am a Cowboys fan but have seen the BOYS go one and done over 23 years. So I am a little "show me" fan before I get my hopes up!

You’re mischaracterizing his MO though. Along with the fact that we’ve won 7 of 8 recently with him following what you call his normal MO. Which suggests we’ll be in the game regardless and should win running away if Dak actually plays better than he has been during the long winning streak.

It was not Dak but the defense that pulled our ***** out of the fire. If I remember right he had interceptions and fumbles in one game and the defense still won the game. I will stick with the MO until proven otherwise!

So what? They’ll both be there next week. You’re talking about the outcome of a game here. Dak and the defense are a package deal. Why start a thread saying ‘we might have a chance’ if QB play changes when you already know we’ll have a chance if we just maintain the status quo?

It reads like you’re just bashing Dak for no reason and pretending the team overall is worse than it’s proven to be the last ten weeks. That’s not what you meant to do, is it?

25th in passing is not elite my man....

yesterday's game should have given the offense and the defense a whole lot better feeling about dak. 4 or 5 o-linemen were backups. no zeke, the best rb in the nfl.

Why can't it be "Show me before I start a negative thread"? I'm not overconfident about this, but Dak played very well yesterday, and more importantly, he had a lot of chemistry with Beasley, Jarwin, and to a lesser degree, Gallup. Gaining confidence in more of his weapons is a very good thing, especially since he was going up middle with more throws yesterday.

Having some of our starters back a little healthier should prove to be a huge boost as well.

If the offense can build on yesterday's performance, and the defense can get back to the way they played most of the season, I like our chances against anyone in the league.

It won’t be the players that spoil Saturday. Dallas has the better team and is home. Coaching, as it always is in Dallas, will be the determining factor. Can they avoid the slow start? The stupid playcalling? The time management gaffs? The dumb penalties? That is the stuff that has plagued them.

Can the coaches not do something to cost the game is the real question. You know Seattle will be prepared to play.

For once in many years we have a defense that can actually complete in the playoffs. A running game (if used properly) can control the pace of the game. The only weakness (from the season) is the QB play. So the purpose of this post is that this game depends directly upon the QB changing his MO and winning one for the fans!
