This was his weakness. They probably adapt to the problem since. But this is what happened and why he played his worse of the season.
Good defense cause problems for all QB
Drew Brees will attest to that
If we can pressure him and contain gurley, and the offense can convert 3rd down and limit their plays we can win this game
I just don’t want a shoot out because that plays into their strength
They averaged 42 points per game at home without Kupp. Their overall average at home of 37 points per game was the fifth best mark in NFL history. You can live in whatever fantasy world you want... they are going to score.Like the vignette said....Goff fell off after he lost Kupp. He was hot then he started falling apart. I don't expect a miraculous turnaround. We have the hot hand.
That'd be nice.
The Rams average 31 at home, and Dallas averages 17 on the road.
Something has to give.
Kupp was really a lot like Thielen with Minnesota. When Minnesota was rolling, it was because they were targeting Thielen early and getting him into the game. Second part of the year for some reason Minnesota basically ignored Thielen in the first half of games and then would start looking for him in the second half.
Their passing game is still good, but the loss of Kupp was big. He was on pace for 80 catches, 1100+ yards and 12 TDs.

I expect them to be better against the run tooNailed it........it's was no coincidence defenses dominated this weekend games. It's money time, so you are going to see the extra effort and attitude from ALL defensive players. None are taking plays off.....
the referees will call holding penalties and stop that from happening. This might be a good week to get a ST’s TD or two. Are you listening Tavon?
Jared Goff, in one of the league's most advanced, new age offenses, had 32 TD passes and 12 ints. He rushed for 2 TDs.
Dak Prescott, everyone's whipping boy, running a 1990's offense, had 22 TD passes and 8 ints. He added 6 TDs on the ground.
So Dak, despite obvious disadvantages in offenses, accounted for 28 TDs and 8 ints, compared to Goff's 34 TDs and 12 ints.
In a somewhat surprising stat, they both have 12 fumbles.
Is there really that much of a difference in the two? Sure, Goff is a pretty passer. Not sure he is the leader that Dak is and not sure he is as 4th quarter clutch as Dak.
Jesus h Christ. We’re good for 20 points maybe
Who said Dallas is handing out a shutout? HahahaThey averaged 42 points per game at home without Kupp. Their overall average at home of 37 points per game was the fifth best mark in NFL history. You can live in whatever fantasy world you want... they are going to score.
Not sure blitzing is the way to beat him. Getting pressure with your front four and mixing up the coverages is more in line with what the teams that have had success against the Rams have done.Goff is a darn good QB but keeping him under constant pressure is key with a lot of blitzes.
