Raise your hand if you knew that Zeke would struggle as soon as all you heard all week was how bad the rams run def was?

He played well enough to keep us in the game with the help of some big penalties. he didn't play well enough to win it. And lets face it our offense is not the type of offence geared to score 30+ points a game ( yes we do it sometimes when our D gets turnovers) but on their own this is a 20 point a game offense, so if our D has a bad game we are screwed. You had to know the Rams were going to score at least 10 in the 2nd half, did anyone here really believe we could score 24 points on offense in the 2nd half without some turnovers to win the game? C'mon our offense isn't built for that. The Rams are a much better team than we are

We can win a game where the defense isnt great. In fact we have won games this year where the defense wasnt great.

We CAN NOT win games where the defense is a steaming pile of trash getting gashed all over the field.

But yes the play calling was horrendous also.

It makes it tougher when you see what a Super Bowl-caliber offensive philosophy looks like. If we just blame this on Linehan's play-calling, we're missing the bigger picture.

Did Dak get sacked much?

So it’s the defenses fault for Dallas going 1 for 10 on third and long? Oh let me guess, it’s all the fault if Linehan. Rams selling to stop the run and keeping them in third and distance.

The offense was bad. 1 for 10 on 3rd down. ...... couldn't run the ball. They beat us up on both sides of the ball.

Thats a misleading stat though honestly. a wealth of those 3rd down playcalls were in situations that the team knew they'd go for it on 4th.

The offense score 22 points and were two for two in the red zone. The three and outs (coaching and plan) were what killed us on offense. The defense is what killed us overall.
Our offense did what they did all season(which was average 21.4 points a game) we are not a high scoring offense and do not have to personell to be able to compete with a team that can put 30 on us. Did our D let us down a bit today? Yes they did but it was our D that got us here and our D that picked up our offense all year. Where was our offense today to pick up our D?

Yeah empty. Game wasn’t nearly over.

Here are Romo’s stats in case you forgot:

22-35 62.86 198yds 0td 1int 66.1 3 fumbles

21-26 15 19 78.95 191yds 2td 0int 2 fumbles

Sucked and pedestrian.
Here’s Dak’s “stats” for the game:
0 clutch wins
0 prime time wins
0 on a scale of 1 to 10 “it” factor

They should have completely abandoned the run.

It’s garbage time when the defense doesn’t care if you keep completing passes underneath as long as you waste a lot of time in the process.
Of course generally speaking the Rams gambled that it didn’t matter what Dak did as long as Zeke didn’t go off, and it worked out well for them.
that is not garbage time but whatever

Going to be an interesting offseason.

Would have to think we will look for a new OC to bring our offense into this decade. On the offensive side of the ball, I really don't expect to see much in the way of personnel changes. Maybe Olawale is gone. Beasley is the big question mark....but honestly, it may come down to signing him or signing Cooper. Cooper obviously much more expensive, but Beasley is lost in our offense. He will go win a Super Bowl with Brady and the Pats.

Defense is going to be where all the action happens I would think. We need another pass rusher. We need one, if not two safeties. I think we end up franchising Lawrence again rather than signing him long term. He really fell off in the second half, a lot like last year.

Typical Dak game...missed some plays, but outplayed Goff without getting on the field much.
Never thought our D would be so embarrassing....simply manhandled the front 7.

Dak took care of the ball, engineered drives, made the big drive when we needed it, but had no chance to make a Dak comeback because the defense crapped the bed on 3rd and long. Offense didn’t get enough possessions, not enough time, and never any good field position. Defense couldn’t even force punts to give Tavon a chance.

Biggest play made by their D was the 4th down stop of Zeke. Not really a bad play call. If game is on the line, as a coach, you can’t lose it because you didn’t put it in the hands of your OL and star RB....they just lost the battle.

Zeke was doing his Levin Bell hesitation all game until that play when he actually could've gotten the first down easily with a slight bit of patience instead of blasting into his blocker and getting stuffed.

Dude, Dak sucked this game, he was missing open receivers not playing smart... it was a typical Dak game... lose in the clutch.

We went for 3 4th downs and made 2. After the first possession, Dak sucked but the defense lost this game.
