Dak outplayed Goff

Dak rose to the occasion. The Rams had a great game-plan to stop Zeke and make Dak beat them. He made some plays. The D just came up way too short in that game. Wish Dak would have used his legs more. I think there was a couple of plays he would have a better chance than Zeke with a RPO.
That crucial 4th and 1 comes to mind @nightrain...I mean, Tyron Smith had Fowler jacked up and folding over and if Dak keeps the ball and get to that edge he may not have scored, but he would've picked up way more than 1 yard for certain.

Goff won...isnt that whst you Dak supporters always say because im almost positive that there were games we won and the other qb out played Dak
Of course there were those games. However...you and your ilk said that we didn't have a REAL qb so we have to underscore when these events occur.

And most people have now evolved to have almost certainty that if we got the ball back like we should have, Dak ties that game.

Just never got the chance.

No better description of what Dak is.. scripted he’s fine.. prevent and soft zones, he gets his stat padding QBR numbers up..
Yes, thank you for the clueless post.

Now winning games in crunch time is "Stat padding". Wow.

Well maybe Goff did have an off night. But saying our QB's stats were better than their QB's stats would still totally be missing the point of: 1) Their team is obviously build well enough to handle an off night by their QB. 2) It's an Off night and its not like his stats are like that usually. Maybe it is rust for not having to play on wildcard weekend? But we all know that Goff can be a passing threat too.

Change my mind

Dak- 20-32... 266yds .....1TD..... 1Rushing TD
Goff- 15-28 ....186yds.......0TD
Three 3 and outs and 1 for 10 on 3rd down for Dak and our offennce plus Dak needed to put up more than our season average to on offence (21.4) to beat the Rams, who averaged 38 points a game at home this season, we actually held them to 8 less than their season average at home. Do your really think if the Rams only ran for say 120 today instead of 270, Goff wouldn't have thrown for the 30 points? He did throw 32 TD's this season and 4800 yards. We were over matched today and it showed all game long. Dak did not outplay Goff, infact i would say Dak and our offense underperformed against a below average defense

Yeah because he didn’t need to throw down field.

Get off google and watch the games please.

Dak played better because he was forced into it. Dak did a good job. He’s not the reason we lost.

But parading around and acting like the game flow didn’t factor into it is just being ignorant.

Watched the game. Would have preferred he threw down field. If they had passed more and ran less we.might have won.

Spare me the condescending bs next time, k buddy?

Goff made the play when he needed to to seal the win

Dak threw a floater into the end zone and got lucky with a shove.

But, Goff throw for under 200 yards. According to the Dak bashers, who cares if a few good throws are made from a QB in a win, If he throw for under 200 then he had a bad game and the game wasn't won because of him, but because of his run game/defense, so the QB really doesn't deserve credit

Dak has to learn to pull that ball down and scramble upfield, 3 times hebhad no one to throw to and had a open lane. Even Aikman mentioned it. That is missing from his game. Other than that I thought he played very well.

We had a chance to take the game but our Defense kept letting them run the ball.

First of all both qbs played poorly so talk about damning with faint praise.

But also Dak literally got 49 of those yards on our last series when the Rams played as soft as there is to play.

He got another 48 of those yards on the first series of the game running scripted plays (great throw to Amari for the TD and great run by Amari).

So for those counting that's the first and last drives of the game that amounted to 97 of his 266 yards. During most of the rest of the game when the battle was won he was his typically awful self. Missed open receivers. Took unnecessary sacks. Failed to run when the opportunity presented itself.

I'm reminded of the play on the designated roll right in the latter part of the game. Amari Cooper was on that side of the field and was WIDE open off his break. There would have been no other read for Dak to look at. He just doesn't pull the trigger. Panics and then throws a 3 yard laser at Rico who can't hang onto it. I almost threw my phone.
Yep. As expected. Right on cue.

Fwiw, 56 yards passing on that last drive. And yes, soft “stay in bounds” defense. It happens

Still, though everyone shares blame, I tend to point at our run defense more than anything

I never made that argument. So it’s meaningless to me

We have a bus driver, 23 td passes is his highest. We have Alex Smith jr

He didn’t win here, when it was more than two scores, but you keep blaming everybody else. Congratulations for a game manager making some plays when Zeke absolutely wears down the front seven.
