THEY HAD THE BALL FOR MOST OF IT.
WE COULD NOT STOP THE RUN.
BALL GAME.

In today's NFL, is it exceptable to have 15 points in the 4th quarter? Is that doing your job? Someone wakes up when it is almost too late to make a comeback, and we give praise for them *almost* doing something.

Dak played solid.
our defense got gutted.
Im more concerned about their performance than I am Dak's.

What I don't like is if the stats were reversed and the Cowboys won, everyone will say Dak didn't do much for the victory.

However, Goff did one play and they hail him while people laugh at Dak when he gets under 200 yards.

Perspective. You would feel like 'everyone' was saying Dak didn't do much - because I assume you would disagree. What I feel, after games like you described where Dak plays less than inspired football and the team wins anyway, is that 'everyone' is saying that wins are a QB stat - because I disagree. All I see, because I notice the people that I disagree with, are tons of people saying that a QB's job is to win blah blah blah, and ignoring the fact that in some wins the QB has played badly and not helped his team to victory - in spite of the fact that the team won the game. Dak has wins on the ledger where the defense played amazing, we couldn't even score 20 pts and we still won - and many here give Dak full credit for those wins. When the defense holds the Saints to 10 points, Dak gets another win. When the defense gives up 30 to the Rams, Dak gets another pass.

Well I like that he was able to somewhat come back and make the game close. But we had that often with Romo too, almost comebacks. I'm not going to go as far as to credit him for being great last night and one of the better players out there, because he stunk all the way into the 4th quarter when we were down almost three scores. It is great that he was able to look good at the end of the game, but ultimately if he would've played better then we wouldn't need to dig ourselves out of a hole to begin with. It gives me hope though for the future that he will be able to have comeback games, but for that game it is close but no cigar. Like I said, he has next season to look great, otherwise I'm willing to move on. Or what if Foles balls out during the playoffs and the Eagles are foolish enough to get rid of him? You don't replace your QB unless you have a better alternative, but if the Eagles make it to the NFC Championship game or the Superbowl, that shows you how clutch Foles has become.
Ok. Name one offensive player besides Dak who stepped up and kept it competitive? Because we all know if this were Romo you guys would be talking about how it would’ve been a blowout if Romo didn’t carry the team.

I already said I thought Gallup and Cooper had a fantastic game, and most certainly stepped up more than Dak did, since Dak missed them a few times. I mean think of the great rookie season Gallup could've had this season if Dak wouldn't keep missing him with badly thrown balls. With that said, Dak did step it up in the 4th quarter, and I almost was convinced that he was clutch.

While I agree Dak out played Goff, I do not care. The team lost. He is part of the team.

The NFL defensive coordinators have no respect for Dak. He's just a guy.

Are those the DC's that went 6-10 against Prescott this year? Or just the Division DCs that went 1-5?

Change my mind

Dak- 20-32... 266yds .....1TD..... 1Rushing TD
Goff- 15-28 ....186yds.......0TD

I'm holding out hope for Dak improving but the fact is if you cannot make teams pay for stacking the box then you're not even in the conversation of "elite QB". Goff is still developing, but with his accuracy he's in the conversation.

He probably did. But before that phantom sack he missed a wide open Gallup for what was at least a first down and maybe a touch down. Dude has to stop missing those.
Not to mention that pick six that he threw and the ram player dropped.

I like dak. But i don’t believe in paying him big money. Once they do that, the team weakens and I don’t think he has the ability to carry the team.

Your daily reminder that what the Rams gave up to acquire Goff is the picks Dallas used (roughly) to take Zeke, Jaylon Smith, Maliek Collins, Taco, Awuzie and Jourdan Lewis.

But the reverse of that is that if your OL plays like crap you can't make anyone pay for anything. Dak has played very well when he has time to throw, which he did in the first 1.5 seasons of his career. And even with poor protection, he improved this year in dealing with pressure.

Whoa!!! Who do you think threw the passes they caught? Why is it accredited to other quarterbacks when receivers have good games and seasons but with Dak it’s everyone else BUT Dak? SMH.
Goff missed some wide open receivers too. As all quarterbacks do from time to time. But no one is magnifying that.

Rams will lose next week and the #1 overall pick who the lambs gave up the farm for will have the same post season as Dak.

The ones that had very little issue with our offense, but their offense couldn't score against our defense.
