That's not what he suggested. He has a fair point. The reality is the Cowboys aren't as good a team as fans want or feel they should be, but if you say they aren't a "real team" because of it, then you are saying the majority of the NFL is filled by teams that aren't "real teams". You can bet your butt Cowboy fans aren't the only ones complaining about their team, or that have legitimate complaints.

You are getting hung up on “words”. Here you get caught up on the term “real team”.

The OPs point was obvious. His point was we just aren’t as well coached as other teams.

And he’s right.

I understand what he meant by "real team", but I also understand how Proximo and others can get frustrated with the suggestion the rest of the NFL teams have their stuff together and the Cowboys aren't a "real team" by comparison. Obviously we, as fans, don't, and shouldn't, be happy about falling short every year, but the Cowboys do not stand out above the rest of the NFL in that regard. It's really only a few teams that are consistently better.
