The second I hear that Garrett has finally been fired I'm gonna strip naked and run around the yard screaming out loud. Then I'll throw a kegger for the ages....
And I would make the road trip to wherever it is that you live to join in the festivities. I wouldn't come empty-handed of course.

You won't be running around the kegger naked will you. I mean you may be the only one showing up.
However, after everyone has enough, all may be doing that.

I dunno what you guys think, but I have come to the conclusion that Jerry has gone rogue and maybe has had a plan all along that if he had a chance to nab a HC like Sean Payton or his assistants, he would go hard for them I think he's looking at ALL the remaining teams in the tourney for THAT guy to help Dak and this offense. Bottomline, Jerry has walked back his commitment to Garrett and Linehan. I think hes only waiting out the Pro Bowl and SB before sparks start to fly. Would you guys be shocked if Garrett was let go? I'm starting to think he is on the way out.Im hearing reports of JJ seeking permission to talk to Coaches..high level guys. This may get real interesting fast.Anyone hearing any updates, let me know..

As long as Jerry stays not knowing what he is doing... the the other guy will stay not knowing what he is doing.

You mean Jerry finally realized the status quo is not getting it done?

Some innovative change would be well appreciated. They have learned to do well in the draft room. So an ability to evaluate is newly evident. Leading me to have some hope. If they would just look at what we have. A lot of good/great pieces on offense and evaluate who is possibly available for OC and quarterback coach. Then pick out 5 to 10 guys on a wish list, who have experience with a young quarterback and matriculating the oblong ball down the field in a creative effective manner, go have some conversations with these guys and land one of them, then I will be over the moon. :)

I wouldn’t put it past JJ thinking about nabbing all those guys from NO (Payton, Campbell, Lombardi). Heck, I’m pretty sure he’s seriously entertaining the idea. It might not be realistic, but JJ only lives in JJ’s world.

People love Lombardi.

But let's look at this. First, he's Drew Brees' coach. Brees doesn't need a coach.

Second, he's in a commercial! Big time qualification.

Third, his grandpa was Vince Lombardi. Must be awesome!

Fourth, but wait. Didn't the Packers just hire a buncha coaches? Not at all interested in Lombardi? Pretty odd there. Maybe they just aren't impressed

Seriously, this has to be an OC they are looking at.

Maybe after watching McVeigh and the Rams biotch slap his Cowboys around for 3 hours he has come to the realization that Clappy and his staff aint getting it done.

Now Clappy is family, so he is not going anywhere. Its like having a business and hiring family members to run it. Even if they totally suck at it, you just cant fire them. So what do you do? You hire people that can actually do the job and give the family members "name only jobs", meaning they dont really have any actual responsibilities. This is how he is handling Garrett.

Go hire a legit OC that can innovate and improve this offense, at least bring it into the current century and you tell Opie all he has to do is just stand there and clap with an occasional mike spit.

New OC runs the offense, Richards runs the defense, and Clappy does what he does best, clap!!!
