I assume we’re Rams fans this week?

Chiefs. I like video game offense.
I love watching their games
I’ve seen 5 or 6 of their games this year and it’s a very exciting offense
But I don’t think just any QB could be as effective and they have some players that are hard to find to implement it
But a variation of that offense could work even here I think
The idea is scheme receivers, backs open with movement
One play I’ve seen them run several times is a triple screen and every time I’ve seen it ran it’s worked but it’s a fairly complicated play to pull ofc

Nope. I'm pulling for Shawn Payton (Former Cowboy), Drew Brees (Westlake), and the rest of the Saints.

I'm rooting for the Saints too. Because if they win, I think the chances that Brees retires go up. And if that happens, I also think the odds of Payton leaving go up. And anything that might increase the odds - however slim - that we might get Payton to be our head coach is what I'm rooting for.

Well, I don't blame you. Unfortunately, I think that ship has sailed. Our chance to have Payton as our HC was a long time ago and it's come and gone IMO. But think about how different the last 10 years of this organization would have been, with Payton as our HC.

I want the Saints and Patriots to win. It sucks as a Cowboys fan that our season is over. But from a football fan's perspective, we could have a BB versus SP; Brady versus Brees Super Bowl.

Doesn't get better than that. So that's what I'm hoping for.

It feels to me like timing has always worked against us. Payton gets the head coaching job with the Saints because he couldn't get it in Dallas with Parcells, and then Bill retires just a year later. That screwed us in that regard.

Then, when it looked like Romo was finally establishing himself as a top quarterback in the league, he repeatedly gets injured, costing this team any chance they might have had to compete. And by the time the team gets the offensive line and running game together, and a hint of defense, the quarterback is physically done for.

It feels like things never align for the Cowboys.

Like to see Brady grab another ring. I do like a Mahomes and Reid though too

Would like to see someone besides the Pats win it.
Don't have a particular team I like although I have a few old Army friends that are Saints fans. They talked a bunch of garbage before the Cowboys beat them, was quiet about the Cowboys until the Cowboys lost vs the Rams and they started making fun again.
I told them they were not so talkative when we dominated them.:D

It's true what they say, it takes a lot of luck. The Romo thing, I don't really have issues there because I feel like you could see that coming and the team just didn't want to see that coming. You can't run a Passing Offense that exposes your QB the way we did, in those years and not expect to have injuries later in years. I am a big Tony Romo fan but I never wanted to sign him to the last contract for exactly those reasons. The Payton deal, that one was hard to take. I mean, Payton knew that his time was coming in Dallas. We told him so, in no uncertain terms but when the job in New Orleans opened up, he took it. I can't blame him really. You gotta take your shots when you have them but that one, that's harder to take for sure, for me. On the bright side, imagine how crappy the Giants must feel right now. They had him first and longer and now look what they have. LOL.......

Yeah but they ended up getting two with Coughlin.
