The boy is not a hater he is truly obsessed with bashing Dak . Its all he talks about . He and his 3 followers bring absolutely nothing to this forum but a negative force that undermines the whole experience . They need to do more than call him on it BAN that fool for the sake of people who want to discuss football .

Or just put him on ignore like most of us have done.

Foles is no less of a risk than Dak IMO. He's 31 and has only ever had success for short periods of time.

You know "like 31" means around that age, right?
My point was google exists, there was literally no need to give your best guess when you could give the exact answer. By not doing that, it simply seems that you're trying to sway opinion with misinformation.

I think we sort of agreed there. I've said early on that I want a new coach this off-season. If Dak works well with that coach, then great. If not or if the coach wants a new QB, then brilliant. We can do that too.

I’m all for Garrett gettin* the gate but I don’t believe that Garrett has been holding back Dak as far as passing.
We’ve seen Romo put up big numbers and a free reign to be as aggressive as he wanted to be so I’d be surprised if he’s holding back Dak unless he feels that Dak doesn’t have the skill set to be more aggressive.

I really don’t know the nature of their relationship when it comes to “ letting Dak do his thing”.... I just know that we can’t have a Marvin Lewis situation here for much longer

Investing in Foles at this point would represent divestment in Dak as 'the guy'. I like Foles, but not so much I'd give up on Dak, who is the less costly option for next season and possibly THE answer at QB going forward.

I don't think Dak has come close to his ceiling yet - get this some coaching and scheme that better takes advantage of the things he does that other QBs simply can't.

I think we have seen his ceiling in his rookie year. He regressed terribly his 2nd year and then rebounded in year 3 to achieve a Qbr ranked 21, in the lowest 1/3 of the league

He’s good for games of 180 to 225 yards, predictable short high percentage throws, able to extend plays with his legs at times, 20 Tds a year.........safe,predictable, mediocrity. 3 to 5 commercials a year and that’s pretty much it....like watching paint dry

Foles without an excellent scheme, good receivers, and an OL would be awful.

He would have been dead by week 4 if he played in Dallas. The matador OL technique that Alexander was installing and Collins excels at would have likely ended Foles career.

Well, the good news is that Linehan is officially gone. So, we're at least going to see how Dak does with a new OC. We'll see what happens to Garrett next.

Alshon Jeffery would’ve been blamed, as he should be in the case you are referencing

If you don’t think Nick Foles is the guy that’s fine we can have an intelligent discussion about that. But let’s at least be intellectually honest. That was a perfectly thrown ball and that interception was 100% the fault of Alshon Jeffery

My bad I should have clarified that comment . It was not directed at Foles at all he was not responsible . It was a general statement basically saying the guy didn't have any horrible game ending mistake but is still being taken to task as if he had

I do remember about some balls early in the season that bounced off our receivers hands and many blamed Dak because they were Inted and I didn't think it was his fault either

I noticed you left will freedom And some of the other people off your list who want to do nothing but praise Dak
Thanks for noticing . Many of us like Dak and what he brings to the team and think given time will mature into a fine QB

Just pointing out the hypocrisy of trying to discredit one QB when the same holds true for the other QB. I'm sure there were more things wrong with the eagles besides Foles, just like there more things wrong with the cowboys besides Dak.

…? discredit?...lol. and like I said ….it's not the same!...apples and oranges!

He’s trolling. Which I thought trolling wasn’t accepted on this site but somehow him and his crew of flunkies get away with it.
No constructive football talk comes from that fool . He just babbles the same exaggerated crap over and over in every thread he comes into . He is so negatively obsessed with Dak that he casts a dark cloud over every thread he enters . If you just read his posts you would think we finished 5-11 Dak threw 20 INTs and never completed a pass

That would certainly make things interesting, but it's the wrong move.

He only comes around after losses. Even the games we lose where Dak plays ok he is still here. It’s annoying and makes this place unbearable.

Here you go again with those pesky facts

I remember listening to Norm after one of those 3-5 games, and he went on about how he thought there were 20 other quarterbacks in this league better than Dak. So certainly, it wasn't a bright spot in Dak's career.

Agreed and it should not be unbearable it should be a place where Cowboy fans can come discuss football and enjoy some camaraderie with like minded fans . The picture insinuating Dak was trash was the last straw with me . You want to discuss and critique the guys game fine no problem but Im sorry Dak has done nothing to be insulted like that and called trash.

Dak is a fine young man who has done everything in his skill set to help us win Flat out no grey area Pictures like that do not belong on a site for Cowboys fans
So now I have no mercy on that punk Where I come from everybody has the right to express themselves but when its in poor taste and you end up face down in a puddle you learn to stay on the right side of the line

The mods need to put that troll on the right side of the line or stop calling this a Cowboys Fan forum

If we get the right OC that can have the same affect on our offense that Richards had on the defense it should be a step forward . Also Dak has another year experience under his belt and some more playoff experience .

Jerry do not invest in Dak!!!!
You and all Cowboys fans will get more for the buck giving that new 20+ million contract picking up a Proven talented QB esp come playoff time in Mr. Foles.
Giving a franchise contract waiting for Dak to grow (Not going to happen lacks the Talent) is gonna be Jerry biggest mistake since the Jimmy divorce.....
Picking up Foles or any other more qualified QB will go a long way bringing this young team of ours to Glory land......

P.S. All I saw yesterday was a replay of the Green Bay playoff loss of 2 years ago as ......Dak could not make the plays when needed in a shootout game!!!!

I totally agree with this theory.

Thanks for noticing . Many of us like Dak and what he brings to the team and think given time will mature into a fine QB

And many of us see a QB who 3 years in, still has poor field vision, bad mechanics and glaring accuracy issues that have been evident from day 1.

We're not all going to see things the same

That's kind of the fun of this board isn't it?
