Easy young sportsman.

The offseason is seven months long.

This is something you should post in June.

Based off of the highlights it looks like Emmitt Smith carried that team and Troy Aikman was just a bus driver.

Aikman wasn't a bus driver, but Smith was the heart of the cowboys. it took excellence from both to win against great teams like the 49ers.

Best win all time? Super Bowl VI- Cowboys beat Don Sula’s Dolphins 24-3 for their FIRST Super Bowl win. I was 13 years old and watched every play with my dad and little brother. Seems like 100 years ago.
Correct and its not close. It was also the best day in Jerry's life, he just didnt know it at the time. Set the team up for the 70's and the making of America's team.

When we we're Kings..........

I was 22 years old and I was at that game. I live about 1hr 40 minutes from where Candlestick used to be. I live smack in the middle of 49er country. The Niners were the big dogs at that time... the build up on talk sports radio was enormous all week. That field was a mess... and, that game was is pretty much, unofficially accepted as that years super bowl. The very first play from scrimmage was something like a 70yard td pass to rice, and it was caled back due to penalty. I put my head in my hands as I was like... oh man, this is not going to be good.

The game was amazing, and in the 4th, the niners had just scored to bring it to a 3 pt game. The crowd was going nuts and they had all the momentum. It was 3rd and 7 or so, if I remember correctly, and Aikman hit Harper on the slant..... and after Harper ran to the other end of the field, the crowd went silent, and we all knew the game just ended on that play. Us Cowboys fans were going nuts as we knew, at that moment, we were headed to the Super Bowl. Those tickets cost me $150. It was the greatest Cowboys game I have ever been to. I took, at the time, a very good camera with a zoom lense to that game (cant take those in stadiums now) and I had no clue what the hell I was doing... but I happened to snap a picture of Emmitt Smith just as he crossed the goal line and he had just put his hand up with the number 1 in the air. I got lucky and snapped my own picture of what has turned out to be one of the most used pictures/videos the media uses from his career.

Oh what a great day that was. I went to the game with 1 other Cowboys fan and 2 niners fans. The niners fans quickly fell asleep in the car on the drive home.....lol

Edit: I just watched the video.... the first emmitt TD they show in this video when Emmitt puts his hand up, thats the play I snapped a picture of. I didnt know what the hell I was doing, and now that great pic is framed and hanging in my theater room. I was incorrect on that pass to harper... that was 1st down, not 3rd.
