"Hair doesn't make a man". (Quote from Van Johnson in Dickinson HS (Tx) locker room in 1970 when defending a little freshman who was being made fun of because of his lack of pubes). Van was a senior and a state champion in both track and cross country. His taking up for that kid impressed me then and has stuck with me ever since. Sorry for reminiscing on you post, but your comment regarding the mustache took me there. :)

it was tongue and cheek. A joke.Because I simply cannot believe SOMEONE in Jerrah's circle has convinced him to go this route.

You really think going from a not even good backup QB to QB coach to OC after one year is “ pretty standard”?

Maybe he will turn out great. So I won’t go full meltdown here, but to say it is pretty standard is silly.

Of course, even if he is a football savant, he will be overseen heavily by Garrett so I doubt even Football Einstein can deal effectively with our offense.
