Point is every QB that was left in the playoffs yesterday is better than Dak hands down. Not to mention despite the loses, non of those QB's disappointed, not even Mahomes who we know had he gotten that ball back in overtime, he more than likely makes history against the GOAT.

And bash Goff all you want, when that guy falls behind and he has to make the more difficult accurate throws, that guy is spot on whether he throws for 100 or 400 yards every time. Is dak that consistant....NO!

Brees and Brady? Enough said!

Alot of our fans are being hypocrites when it comes to Dak and these other QB's having average games.

These guys in the playoffs do what they need to do to get the job done while dak folds under these pressures.

Dak is not on any of their levels nor is he playoff or championship material. Stop being jealous because Goff has lead his team to the big dance while Dak has contributed to sending our team home, giving the fans nothing to look forward to.

Accept the fact that the QBs you guys are bashing are still talented enough to amp it up or turn it down and still win.

We wont sniff a NFC title or SB until we find a better passer we can develope like Goff and Mahomes.

Despite coaching I think any of those guys are talented enough to work with the talent we have just fine.

For someone whining about everyone else being hypocritical you sure don't practice what you preach.

Dak's numbers in his 3 playoff games have been very good. Plus he finished the season on a high note.

You, and many others, refuse to get past the first half of the season where he was obviously struggling w/o a true #1 WR, and acknowledge that once Cooper was brought in we saw a much improved Dak.

You claim he's not championship material as if every championship QB has to throw for 400 yards and 4 TDs each week. Need I remind you of some of guys like Eli Manning, young Russell Wilson, Joe Flacco, young Roethlisberger, and old broke down Peyton Manning.

It takes a TEAM to win a championship. We all sat in front of our TVs and watched Tom Brady throw for over 500 yards and multiple TDs in last year's SB but he went home ringless.

It's not all on Dak.

Dak gets criticized for not throwing the ball perfectly every time, but as I said WRs make difficult catches in the NFL all of the time for their QBs.

What's Silly is you defending one of the lousiest QB's in the league . Cowboy or not .

Point the OP is tryin to Make is we are not going to the SB with Dak as our QB , he flat out stinks

We all know the predictable excuses the Anti Dak crowd will make, if we ever do get to a Superbowl with him though, Or if a QB places Dak and we still don't make the Superbowl, then the same ones getting on Dak Supporters, will be giving the same type of support to their dream Cowboys QB, that they are bothered over Dak Supporters giving to Dak.

Now's as good a time as any to jump off the bandwagon. Garrett will be back and so will Dak.

Dak has only two games in his career of brining a team back from at least 10 points, meaning two scores and they all go back to 2016. This idea Dak is clutch is a myth. This team plays it close in large part because Dak is awful and Zeke wears down the front seven. And teams dare Dak to beat them with their arms.

If it's so easy then why is Dak leading the league in game winning drives since he entered the league? Seriously he's so bad but why are his numbers at end of halves and 4th qtr/ OT so incredible? You're just blinded by hate, obviously. Even people who don't like Dak agree when the games on the line he does a damn good job of making it happen one way or another. He's got half the number of game winning drives as your beloved Romo in only 3 years.

Can we PLEASE stop making these threads? Regardless if you like him or not, he’s the Dallas QB. Jerry loves him despite of what we think, so he will probably be our QB for a long time. It’s better to think positive instead of sitting around complaining all the dang time about our QB. We’re in it for the long haul. Be optimistic about it and hope he grows, or sit down and complain about every single bad thing he does. Pick one.

Mahomes is a 2nd year quarterback who had amazing success in his first full year as the starter. Yesterday, he looked like a kid where the stage was too big for him. Belichick made him uncomfortable for the first time all season.
And by "Stage too big for him" you mean the "Hanging 28 second half points on the Pats to lead the game LATE in the 4th quarter, fall behind 31-28 with 0:39 left and drive the team for a tying FG to toal 31 points 2nd half points on the Pats = Stage too Big for Him"?

The confusion is quite understandable. CowboysZone scientists were only able to identify the behavioral conditions as recently as 2008. They named the phenomenon OSRNR, which states for

Off
Season
Romo
Nonsensical
Reaction

There is no known cure for OSRNR. Non-infected fans are cautioned to be wary of confrontational threads, posts, etc. created by OSRNR sufferers. Some treatment options include using the Ignore feature or voluntarily lobotomizing one's mind after reading non-insightful commentary. Moderators have the ban hammer option but the choice kills the patient while the underlying cause lives on. Experimental research has shown not clicking on OSRNR threads links has produced promising results.

CowboysZone.is dedicated towards ending OSRNR before 2050. Until then, remain calm and ride the rapids.

Are you sure about that?

It seems clear that the goal of this website is to generate revenue by attracting advertisers which is accomplished with creating traffic.

The Dak, Romo, Garrett, etc sucks/doesn't suck threads are usually the most heavily trafficked threads on this forum. Often full of personal attacks (see above) and ego flexing posts that have little to do with the topic.

I find it hard to believe that ending OSRNR is in management's best interest.

Not a critiscm, just an observation.

Dak was sacked 56 times on his own. Dak got sacked only once against the Rams and struggled all game to put up 15 points with a heavy pass to run ratio.

This team plays it close in large part because Dak is awful and Zeke wears down the front seven. And teams dare Dak to beat them with their arms.

That’s exactly what the Eagles did when they were playing cover 1 and Cooper basically had to yell to Dak they keep sitting on the hooks, so throw it deep to him.

Let’s stick to that number, 2.

There are also only 2 other QBs in league history to throw for 22+ TDS passes in the first three seasons not named dak.

So Peyton and Luck are horrible too right?
Game managers?
No skill?

How silly Cowboys fans and media have become:

The fact that question is even asked shows you the level of stupidity we’re dealing with..

Make a damn play!!! Winners make plays. Losers analyze the ball placement of their QB

Every pass has to hit the receiver in the numbers according to the couch potatoes here.

Dak would’ve scored on the drive had Zeke picked up the first on the 4th down run

Dak would’ve scored a TD and the 2-point had the defense been able to force a punt on the last drive

Your point?
Maybe Dak should have called his own number through that gapping hole!

People forget that many of Dak’s national critics do their homework. They watch a ton of film and take note of the reads Dak makes, the types of pockets he’s throwing from, when he’s getting the ball out vs when he should be. Etcerera. Dak is not a lost cause, but he needs to take some serious steps forward if he wants to change from a sometimes liability to a full time asset. I think the ability is there, it’s just a matter of him taking those steps forward.

I agree with you but being real we just have to get some aren't letting 2016 go. If Dak was the QB for any other team playing like this they'd be crapping on him but since he's their QB they have to defend him. That and they think by being the opposite of the vocal critics on the other side they counter balance it but average play is average play no matter how us fans want to put it. Its a reason up until this point they rather stop Zeke than Dak every game. The actual people who play the games think Dak is the weak link.

Yeah phil , you and your cohorts are right, gosh darn it, how is it all us Podunk butt sniffers just couldn't see how "average" our guy is, I mean with stats like these >
Since Prescott’s rookie season in 2016, only Tom Brady (31-7 record) and Ben Roethlisberger (29-9) have more wins as a starting quarterback than Prescott, who is 27-15. Drew Brees is also 27-15.
who in their right mind would EVER think Dak Prescott is just another in the long list of bum QB.s to hit the league, how dare us.
