Oh, I know that they can be naughty at their shows, but I think they would tone that down for the Superbowl. I understand that the German would be a bit problematic, but they'd still be fun. And I know those songs lol. This would be a great way for them to get better known in the US, and it helps the NFL expand it's market.

Yes, I agree that it would help expand their market. Especially since they're trying to be a thing in England now. Rammstein was on top of the world in the 90s and 2000's. Everybody in Europe knows them. They have at least 10s of millions of fans around the globe. But, our lame NFL wouldn't be able to handle them. lol. Hey, aren't you from England? I could swear I remember reading that from when you first came over to our site. :)

Haha, I do have a big British background, but I was born and live in the US. I've got a lot of family and friends in England, and I type very British.

As for Rammstein, Germany has a big American football base. Talk about a good way to really increase the ability to play international games in Germany. In fact, I love that the NFL plays in London, but Germany would be another good place to play a game. The players would love it, and October is a great time to play in Munich.

Plus, like you said, Rammstein is one of the biggest names in Europe. The pyrotechnics alone that they use would put ALL the acts the NFL has had to shame. Plus, I'd love for the Cowboys to take the field to Fuier Frei! Now THAT would be a big entrance!

Wow, I didn't know NFL was so big in Germany. That's awesome! Yeah, maybe a game in Munich wouldn't be a bad thing for them. And they could have an extended half time to entertain the crowd and get them more involved. And it could be Rammstein! Since the shows are broadcast live in the States, all the American audience would see them, and say they want performances like that over here. And suddenly millions of kids are digging to find old Rammstein cd's and bustin their piggybanks to buy them. Bam. Wins all around. There it is. ;)

Well, plus, think about it. Oktoberfest and the NFL in Munich? That's a match made in football heaven. That's brilliant too!! Rammstein as the halftime show for that game? That would be sensational!

Well, good point.....WORTH IT FOR RAMMSTEIN LOL. Plus, I think everyone would love it. London is great for the NFL, but Munich'' stadium is massive too. It's a good way to add a second European country for the NFL.

Now, for who would be the first teams to play in Munich. The Rams have to host an International game each season until the new stadium is built. I think we're playing the Rams next year. Jerry loves alcohol. So, Cowboys @ Rams! That'd be a LOT of fun!!!

Plus, its two big market NFL teams, and it gets Los Angeles' international home game requirement taken care of. Then there's us. I could see this being a massive success.

I'm curious as to why they wouldn't be what the NFL is looking for in a halftime act, unless, as I've said, they are afraid of Rammstein upstaging them. Is it because they sing in German?

I think they'd be popular in the US if more people here knew of them. They are one of the best known bands in Europe. Now, poppy..yeah, they'd scoff at that title. They play real music.

Gimme a break...real music? Who are you to decide whats "real" music?

People can listen to whatever they like, whether you think its "real" or not.

Sorry. I just think that Rammstein is better than groups like Bruno Mars. I personally think that Rammstein would be terrific as a halftime show performance. I get that they're not the usual thing that the NFL tends to put out for a halftime show, and that would be brilliant. A change of pace. I strongly am of the opinion that if they put them in, people will really like them. I think that the League would get massive ratings for it.

The three songs they'd likely play are "Rammstein", "Sonne", or "Du Hast". The latter is their best known song. I'm personally wanting a change of pace from the normal pop they play. I think Rammstein would be a nice change. You don't have to know German to enjoy their music. I know a bit, but I very much enjoy their music. It's very catchy at least.
