I teared up. He's my number 4 of only 4 on my Cowboy Mt Rushmore with no more add ons.
Landry, Roger, Michael and Tony. And killing it in the booth just like he did on the field. Love this guy.

I did too when he talked about switching perspective in his play. Seeing him mature into the qb he became is a magnificent story in itself.

I'm sure he's losing sleep about you have to say. Tony was our qb for a decade in our 50 year history. Sure he didn't win championships, but he practically owns every statistical record for his position. It's not like he picked Martellus Bennett or something. Get off the high horse, sir.

Seriously, what a waste.

It was not a waste. He was pure enjoyment to watch. Much more fun to watch than Aikman. He was in the Staubach category of players that you wanted to watch play. He was special in that regard. He was the only enjoyable part of the last 20 years of being a fan.

As a fan of the Cowboys, I wanted a championship for him more than for me as a fan because he deserved it for all the unwarranted crap he took over the years!

If the front office provided this man with a competant coaching staff this man would have 3 SBs.
I blame Romo's injury history. Those 3 back to back 8-8 seasons was largely because of Romo injuries and or Romo mistakes in big games. Love the guy but Romo had a little too much Farve in him at times.

I mean, Favre won a Super Bowl and went to another one... but no Cowboys team Romo played on was in the same universe as the 1996-1997 Packers in terms of overall talent OR coaching. Like not even close lmao.

Organizations win titles not individuals. I think Brady is the GOAT, but he's not winning a single ring if he played on the 2006-present Cowboys.
