I didn't say that. Nobody enjoys the draft more then me. I'm talking about from a pure entertainment standpoint.

The draft is not as exciting without the first round pick.

No first round pick, and only a late second. May as well ignore the first couple of days of the draft. Must suck for the Cowboys Draft Show.

Well the one scenario I can think of where Garrett made an absolute terrible coaching decision was in OT against the Texans.

It was 4th and 1 (a long one according to him) on the Texans 41 yard line or so.

He pulled the offense right off the field and put the punter out there.

Why not, at the very least, leave your offense out there and appear to go for it and try to draw the defense offsides?

Not going for it was even a highly controversial decision.

That was absolute garbage coaching.

Thankfully, he became more aggressive in the 2nd half of the season.

Running right at Sue and Donald on the 4th down. That rivaled some of his past handlings of the clock as the worst all time.

Assuming all our moves were on his idea (which of course they weren't), what would you say was the worst decision he made this past season? It could be personnel related, a particular play called, situational decision, etc.
Well, considering the facts that yer' o.p. has rooted& branched forth a sprawling 8 pages in a little over 48 hour window& I've only digested yer' opening post?,,,SHEESE! other than that past midfield O.T. "Texas toad stomp- out fer the big ***ed dangling whoppers them Texas gals foreverly forwardly place in a man's face ?,,,,,,er,,, I'd reckon to be found in solid agreement of +96% of this threads prior personally perceived posts of possible pertinence,,,( cuz' ya know there's always gonna' be that .05 % fraction of just plumb wild Indians who find it obtusely humorous to attempt to tinkle in the lodges brewing batch of upcoming festival cheer,ya know?

It is not entirely on Garrett. But the worst move was not adequately replacing Dez before the season started. I love Cooper. So if it had to be this way, to get him, then so be it. But if there was a chance to have gotten Cooper during last off season, then maybe we are playing tomorrow.

Loading the box on 4th in one in the divisional round and running straight up the gap between Looney and Williams who were assigned to block the best player in the NFL and Suh.

This, how stupid can you be. Let's just run at there 2 best players on D and one is the best in the game today since LT.

Oh god. The "every coach makes mistakes" excuse. Need you to up your standards my friend.

Name a coach who hasn't made mistakes, but wait you can't because ALL coaches make mistakes. There's never been and never will be a coach who never make a mistakes.

That is the lamest point. So what is your point? They all make mistakes so they are all the same? They all make mistakes so Garrett gets a free pass? They all make mistakes so Garrett is great? LOL

Garrett is just bad at his job. How many coaches from the Garrett tree have gone on to run other offenses? Who are other teams plucking off the Cowboys coaching staff? No one.

Oh I see the only measure of a coaches worth is how many of his former coaches are OC? No I'm not saying that Garrett is the greatest coach or that because all coaches make mistakes they're all the same, but what I am saying is the same group whine about the same things day after day after day after day whining the same whine over and over and over and over and over. I remember the same group all for an entire season doing the same whine about Garrett and low and behold he was the NFL coach of the year. That's why this same group with their same whine means zero.

You think they'd admit their schemes stink and don't help people get open?

Man, you just cannot believe everything you hear.

You also can't be skeptical about everything either. Too many conspiracy theorists out there when they dont get the answer they want.

Let's just say some coaches make more mistakes than others and the bad part is some still don't learn from the mistakes they keep repeating.

Oh, no doubt. However, that is ignoring the elephant in the room, that all NFL org's constantly throw out misinformation, and all media sources simply lie for ratings. Everything you hear from either source should be taken w/ a grain of salt.

Took them half a season to realize " wide receiver by committee" wasn't cutting the mustard.
