....and the team that has a new RB for every Super Bowl they get to gets their sixth trophy since 2000.

You either have a great QB that can put up a ton of points or you have a great defense to keep you in a game. It is not about the skill players, it's about the most valuable position and the trenches.

Stop handing out big contracts to highlight reel players that won't lead you to the ultimate goal. Slap Zeke with a couple franchise tags, hope and pray that Cooper takes some "Thank you for believing in me!" discount, and pay our freakin' defensive players.

Totally agree! The problem with these star RBs is they look so good and fresh early in the season but too much use wears them out by the time they get to the playoffs they arent the same player. The Pats have a stable of mediocre backs that can all do the same things and they looked fresh.

The team is built around Zeke not the Quarterback. Dallas would have to change there philosophy if the did what you want. Zeke is not going to play on the two years left on his contract let alone play on two franchise tags.

Now we know why Zeke recently has been demanding a new contract extension. I bet he knows his body is not going to last another 4-5 years with the amount of carries and physical beating he takes.

Do you want a trophy or do you want a Zeke highlight reel with a couple off the field incident stories thrown in?

And thinking you can't change a philosophy of "Maybe we shouldn't run 400 times with a single player in a season" is funny. Then again, with this coaching staff, changing things up might be a struggle.

Meh. We aren't winning a Super Bowl any time soon - jersey sellers is all we got.

This game hardly falls on Gurleys shoulders. He got 10 carries. This is just what Belechek defenses do. They take away what you do best. Goff was by far the bigger problem.

Gurley didn't do crap with 10 carries. He hasn't done anything for weeks. Yet, CJ Anderson, a dude out of football, came in at the end of the season and had a 4 game stretch of big time play and helped get them to the championship.

That's the point - you aren't replacing a great defensive player or QB this easily, now are you?

The same defensive players that got torched by the Rams? This is some straight monkey see monkey do nonsense. If Gurley was 100% this thread wouldnt be made.

....an unhealthy Gurley was replaced by CJ freakin' Anderson and he produced as much as Gurley from week 15 to the divisional round LOL

Show me another position that you can replace this easily? Go ahead.

Listen I agree with your assessment but Jerrah does not. Just look at the Cowboys trophy case the last 24 years.

Gurley sure didn’t look elite. In fact, other than the Cowboys game he hasn’t looked elite all year. Heck, the coach wouldn’t even play him much in the SB.

Goff looked pretty replaceable last night. There is a bigger story here with Gurley splitting carries that the rams aren't talking about. Gurley shredded our defense and then was barely used against NO and NE. The Rams got to the super bowl running the ball. They just ran into Belechek.
