You guys keep bringing up upside but what good is upside if you never fulfill it? And it happens every season. Every draft guys doing hit their ceiling.

He was going to win league MVP last year before he got hurt.

He didn’t even get a year to recover and fractured his back on top of that.

When he’s on Dak can’t touch him.

I’ll take Dak over Goff because Goff is just so soft and at least Dak plays with heart and steps up in big moments.

To think, Dak would have even better stats with a competent OC and scheme.

And then we all found out that he wasn’t the “most valuable player” when his team won the Super Bowl without him.

Hard to argue somebody is the most valuable player in the league, when they get hurt and the team goes on to win a championship anyway.

I think wentz is really talented too. But there are a bunch of ifs and buts about Wentz the last two years also. Just as many as there is about Dak.

Wentz injury had nothing to do with his struggles. It was between the ears. A torn acl doesn’t make you throw into double coverage.

But he did.

He didn’t even get a year to recover and fractured his back on top of that.

That's right, hurt again.

When he’s on Dak can’t touch him.

But I guess Dak overtakes him by actually being on the field. While Wentz watches Nick Foles take the team to the playoffs and wins Super Bowls.

Agreed.

And what exactly has he won in the post season?

The bar has been lowered by some on this site
It’s the heart. He’s a gamer in postseason, who kept coming till the end. You can’t teach that, and you can’t develop it. He’s not fazed in the moment.

What a silly excuse.

Dak threw almost twice the amount of passes in college as Wentz and he did that in the SEC not at North Dakota State.

Dak didn't go in the 4th because he was a project. He went there based on what his talent dictated to scouts and GMs. His same limitations then still exist now.

No matter how you and people of your ilk try to spin it...Dak Prescott was a throwaway fourth rounder that has ZERO business being mentioned in the same sentence as GOD WENTZ AND GOD GOFF.

He is the 70th (not 17th or 27th or 57th) ranked QB in terms of pay...7-0!!!!

In fact, he should be where Paxton Lynch and Christan Hackenberg is right now. Instead, he is right up there with the 1st and 2nd overall picks of his class. That is damn impressive.

Not trying to hijack your thread..

but no way can you make a realistic comparisions here.

It takes more than 3 years to see what you have in a QB.

Most teams can't stay with a QB for 3 years.

Too much pressure for them to be the next Brady or Manning.

I think of guys like Manning and Rivers.

Tremendous QBs that can dominate games but do not have the supporting players around them to win.

Dallas has to figure out how to build a team and afford to pay the needed pieces.

We shall see what happens.

Nobody else has Zeke.

That changes alot of things for DAK.

What about Foles, he’s better than all 3. Philthy better keep him

I'm learning that a Dak thread on either side is akin to rolling a grenade into a crowded room

Lol. Everything else being equal it’s wentz by a mile. Goff has no courage and Dak doesn’t have the arm. Not even close.

Yes super impressive if you chose to ignore context and situation. I agree.
