I think it's nice not having a true HC

Alot of fans dont understand that we are one of a kind and that there is nothing wrong with doing things the way we are.

We are actually seeing results. So why keep complaining about Garrett and asking for a better HC.

As the season went, I just sat back, watched, and observed how things go. I observed Jerry, Garrett, linehan etc.....and at the end of the season I asked my self "what the hell am I complaining for".

Garrett doesnt do much, Jerry makes the calls, the OC is mainly at the offensive controls, and we dont need a HC. Just tweak away at the OC until we get that correct and we are good to go.

And then I log onto here and see threads about another HC.

Its pointless.

Jerry and the OC is how the cowboys go.

Garrett is just a mascot and is no more important than Rowdy himself.

I resigned myself to the fact quite a while back that Garrett was a fixture that Jerry was sticking with to the end . To his credit he is pretty good at assembling talent and they like him and play very hard for him .

This team could have gone in the tank at 3-5 but to Garretts credit he kept them focused till we got a WR and the Oline back to a blocking scheme that fit there talents
that said it puts his knowledge in question that after his long tenure he couldn't see we needed more Talent at WR and the Oline was playing way under there draft status

I also have to question the decision to not play anyone in preseason as with so many new faces on offense they really needed some game experience together and the lack of chemistry showed in the beginning of the season .

Im hoping Kellen dose for the offense what Richards did on defense and we will be better off and not have to depend on Game Day coaching from Garrett which is his weak point

Jerry backing Moore is a big plus for this team also. I'd rather live and die by that next season and then make adjustments if need be afterwards.

I saw alot of going for 4th down calls..

saw a fake punt

saw him win some challenges

he improved.

Maybe he should order the halftime meal, too.
Why does it take media and fan outrage for Garrett to do these type of things? He was the same as OC. In 2009, vs the broncos he called 3 straight run plays and Barber couldn't get in. The media/fans called him out, so when we played the Chargers, he called 3 straight passing plays. Both ended with FG's.

Your thoughts are interesting.

I guess I have to respectfully ask..

So do you think this only happens with us?

Wilson was roasted for the interception in the SB a couple of years back instead of running 3 times with Marshawn Lynch.

I do not remember fans calling the Seahawks HC a slacker or defective like people do with Garrett.

If Garrett changes..it's becuz he was too dumb to know better and is forced into his playcalling.

This is just nonsense.

Stop trying to shape your argument with non-issues.

Garrett has greatly improved as a HC.

The fact the rumors say he wanted to fire Linehan after last season but was blocked says what to you?

It's not his call.

It's the FO.

Stop the blame game.

It gets really old.

Understand I respect every bodies opinions on this team here.

But reaching back 9 years ago to prove your point just seems like a stretch and despairate somehow.

I think it would be nicer to actually have a quality HC. This unconventional cowboy method isn't working.

I am ok with my team as probably the only team not having a true HC. I believe true HC's are overrated, and imo Jerry does just fine coaching and running the team.

I really dont want to see another HC until Jerry leaves this earth. Let Garrett stay. I dont see the purpose of fans complaining about the guy(garrett) when he basically has his hands on nothing control wise.

He stands on the sideline and clap. That hurts nothing and nobody. So stop complaining about a guy that doesnt effect anything on the team. He is just there. Let him be.

Jerry gave us the next Mcvay and I am just fine with that. You never know what kind of plays a 29 year old can draw up with having come up in the modern world today, played in a high flying college offense, and raised by a coach himself.

You never know, Moore may have some tips and tricks that could hide the flaws of our handicapped QB.

We dont need a HC. Leave Garrett be. I literally love what the circus has brought in and it's not as bad as some of you believe.

Love the sarcasm man!

I reached back nine years to make the point he still does the same, dumb ****. After the Houston game, after the fans and media blasted him for it, was when i actually started going for it on 4th downs. How has he improved? 9 years, and still hasnt made it past the divisional round despite having Romo. The seahawks already won a Super Bowl, and were in their 2nd in a row. Again, what has garrett done?

Yep looks like Jerry is all in on this move and he has had some success with some of his latest ventures . Jaylon turned out to be a beast . Gregory finally straightened up , the trade for Cooper turned the season around along with the promotion of Columbo .

Im hoping Moore has a similar impact on the offense like Richards had on the defense .
