I think we'll see him in full strength this year. Better to play it safe and recover than push yourself out of ever being 100%. Coaches need to take note as this should apply to more severe or lingering injuries as well.

Good, Looney can go back to being a running back.
I like the fact that Looney got valuable reps during TFreds absence, and he improved gradually every week because of it.
Looney will provide solid depth once TFred is back in place, and having both of them improve this OL dramatically, and Zeke will be much more effective off tackle this season.

This offense line took a major step backwards last season in the absence of TFred, and this season will take a huge step forward with our "all world center" returning, and even more with experienced depth now at the position.
Has the potential of being the number 1 overall OL in the league this season if Williams has an incredible off season.

I read here (numerous times) that his career was over.

You mean the "Zone doctors" didn't know what they were talking about (as usual)?
Considering an athlete like Mark Schelreth(SP) had the same disease and it was diagnoses late and he recovered in a year and that was over 20 years ago.

I wasn’t aware of him having it
So I guess it doesn’t come back?
Having him back not only brings back a great player but a real leader on the team
