Dallas Cowboys

Rams DT Ndamukong Suh
Raiders TE Jared Cook
Seahawks S Earl Thomas

For the Cowboys, a lot hinges on what happens with defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence. He played on the franchise tag last season and the Cowboys are still hopeful to get a long-term deal done after 25 sacks last season. However, if they can't, it changes their offseason plans with edge-rusher becoming a very pressing and expensive need.

Assuming they find a way to keep Lawrence, defensive line is still a need but they can shift some their focus to the interior and that's why Ndamukong Suh is our top favorite to land with the Cowboys. Rod Marinelli loves hard-charging three-techniques and while Suh isn't quite as dominant as he once was, he's still really good and a great fit for the Dallas defense. Cowboys. The Cowboys are also still looking to fill the glaring hole left by Jason Witten's retirement last season at tight end and Jared Cook looks like he'll be the best free agent available at the position.

As for Earl Thomas, we've heard his name linked to the Cowboys via trade for years and the former Texas star makes sense to come home given that he's an upcoming free agent, the Cowboys have a need at safety and they have nearly $47 million in projected salary cap space, and a report recently indicated that there is interest in Thomas if the price is reasonable.

Offensively we do not even know what Kellen has in mind. For example Jared Cook makes no sense in Linehan's scheme but he may make perfect sense in Kellen's scheme.

Not much of anything has made sense in Linehan's scheme the past two years.

I think a veteran guy like Jared Cook can greatly benefit the TE room, even if it's on a one year deal.

When snowballs don't melt in hell, those three things will have a snowballs chance in hell of happening. TE? maybe blocker type to replace Swain. ET/Suh? big bucks. No go, won't happen. JMO of course

Oh, I'd enjoy all three of these additional free agents...of course, retaining much of what already is Dallas.

I see Earl Thomas only from this list unless Earl's Agent starts getting to greedy with the numbers and they might not

I would take a chance on the Bengals Tyler Eifert. He would come to the Cowboys cheap cause he has something to prove. Lining up with his bro n law Zack would do it
Tyler Eifert can’t even sneeze with getting injured. No thanks.

Nah, no chance. Cowboys don’t like getting involved with big name FAs

who wouldn't like any of those...but I'll believe it when I see it.
Earl Thomas most likely.
Id love Suh...but Id rather see us draft a DT...
Renell Wren,Az St
Demarcus Christmas,Fsu
Dontavius Russell,Auburn
Daylon Mack,Texas A&M

they aren't Suh...but I prefer the draft.

I don't see Dallas signing Suh.

I would not mind if Dallas picked up the Bronco's edge rusher Barrett that is being projected to the Commanders.

The Commanders would also love an edge rusher to pair with Ryan Kerrigan to improve their pass rush and Shaq Barrett would be an extremely savvy addition. Barrett has been an effective edge rusher for the Broncos for years now, he's just been buried behind Von Miller, DeMarcus Ware (before retirement) and now Bradley Chubb. He could be a star in the right setting at a relative bargain price.
