3 years? how do they do it?

It seems like a pretty standard length for a guy his age. Few teams give out 5 year deals to 31 year old DL.

That’s a lot of scratch though at like 12MM per. How they manage their cap will be interesting.

I guess we couldn’t coerce any of our old vets out of retirement.

So 3 years, ~40m$? Wow, he would have gotten way more on the open market.

Too expensive and not enough of a "project" for Marinelli. Look around at every team's practice squad...any pass rush help will probably come from there

Good move, but that means Jernigan and at least one more player somewhere is out. Interesting, also means they aren't clearing house quite yet. Probably going to try to make that run once again next year.

This is one thing that pisses me off about the Eagles.......... because I think their approach oin one area is better.

They pour resources into the DL. They'll probably draft a couple of DL, possibly high, with their plethora of picks. They don't rely on plucking projects in FA and trying to turn them into players like we do. They carpet bomb the crap out of the DL position and I wish we would too.

Jernigan is either out or has to take a paycut if they're aspiring to also keep Jordan Hicks (likely).

Darby and Tate are good as gone, though.
