If you were running the team, how would you handle the slot receiver position?

1. Resign Beas?
2. Use Hearns in the slot?
3. Resign Austin as the slot guy?
4. Add a vet FA as our slot guy?
5. Draft a slot receiver?
6. Go UDFA route like we did when we got Beasley in the first place?

I would probably draft a guy with some return ability and hedge my bets with Austin on the team as well.

I would sign Austin and then another veteran slot guy. Plenty of quality guys out there this year in FA. I would spend my draft capital at other positions. Plus rookie WR's don't do much.

Austin 1 year, 3M
Cedrick Wilson returning from IR
Give some slot WR snaps to Cooper

Look at pass receiving RBs in the draft or elsewhere (Duke Johnson types...). The good ones can function as slot WRs when needed.

Cooper, draft pick, UDFAs, and see what C. Wilson can offer.

Personally I would cut Hurns and rock a younger cast.

Sign Golden Tate
Resign Tavon Austin
Develop Cedric Wilson
Draft someone that plays X, Y and Z in the draft also.

Agree, resign Austin and draft one.

Im all for drafting a guy. Bease wants $20 million in guarantee's, sorry, not worth it. Hurns wont cut it, Austin wont last a full season, if anything sign him a our return guy....draft someone in the 3rd or 4th!

Do what the FO is going to do and let Beas walk unless he takes a friendly deal and draft/sign a cheap replacement.

It's one of the worst FA markets in years, by all accounts.

I know everyone wants to go grab FAs, but just be smart about it.

Going to be some wild overpaying this year due to the sheer lack of talent out there.
Good year for Beasley to try his value in the market , btw.
I'm letting him walk if he asks for what is being rumored.

We can patch it up in-house and maybe draft a guy later. This draft is absolutely loaded at WR...and with way more speed than last year's crop. Just don't expect to get much from a rookie until, at best, the 2nd half of the season.

I’d do the same. Bring back Tavon and draft another slot guy.

Resign Beez if he wants to be fair. Otherwise FA. And use what we have. Austin will likely get injured again.

The problem with drafting a slot receiver is it would require a relatively high pick to get a real contributor in year one. This team has lots of needs, and of course no first rounder. Hopefully an affordable deal can be reached with Beasley.
