How many years of mediocracy

I don't think people realize what an achievement it is to be as mediocre as we have been . All those seasons. 8 and 8 is actually the new great. How many teams go to the Superbowl . And then they don't even make playoffs following season . For this franchise to compete as long as we have . That's actually an awesome achievement. I feel like we could have won every single game we played .

I have been a fan of this franchise before Rodger Staubach era. I don't think I've missed a Cowboy game in 30 seasons. It's an actual fact not opinion. Teams go to the Superbowl and The Following season they don't even make the playoffs. Falcons Carolina your most recent. Even the NFL Network's media. Are realizing that statistic is remarkable

What is mediocrity?
Is it winning a division title but not making to the NFC title game?
Is that mediocre?
Because that has been more of the norm the last 5 years than anything else

I want more. Well do, hopefully
but most teams would call that a good-to-very good year, but not great. But none would call it mediocre unless it was the pats

That's exactly what it is. All the teams go right in the dumps and then they get high draft picks. But that was not our philosophy. Obviously. It's a remarkable achievement to stay competitive as long as we have. Maybe we would have been better off if we went in the tank. Like other franchises have

I also feel like this is not the same old Cowboys I no longer have those expectations of failure when something goes a little bit backwards. 13 fourth-quarter wins for Prescott. Those other six franchises. They didn't win games for 8 or 9 seasons. There's a difference. They were in the tank the entire time

Like I said, to each their own. But I’m 29, I have no real recollections of my favorite football team being serious super bowl contenders....if you don’t understand my angst we just aren’t the same type of sports fan then

Yea I miss Romo. Three 8-8 seasons in a row. Hopefully we can steal Sean Payton away from the Saints.....he managed three 7-9 seasons in a row with Brees. Dak would really blossom!

I understand what you mean but I am not a Sean Payton fan he showed his true colors in this Super Bowl run. He made many mistakes
