No one and I mean no one that knows anything about pro football and has watched Heath play ONE game since he’s been a starter can defend his play. I’ve had guys isolate on him while watching games and EVERY ONE of them have come to the same conclusion....he has no business on an NFL roster. Hell....isolate on him on special teams. He’s terrible there also.Heath only lead all safeties in the entire NFL in missed tackles, but dont let that fact stop your rant against fellow fans......please continue
Gone! You need football players like Jeff heat on your team. That's how you win in this league. You can't have money players at every position you need those Bill Bates type guys
80% of your team is regarded as football players. The salary cap dictates this. I rather have a guy trying to make a name for himself. . than somebody already has that name just looking for dollars I call them money PlayersGone!
I accept the mantle of covetrous Calvinist centrist cavalier cadet.* "No finer of insightfully formulated wizened factuality's of Footballish type stratagem remain unposted unto this day of forum history since the @GimmeTheBall! Hath uttered thus knowledged eloquence henceforth"
* as this too shall be placed into the holy scrolls of recorded records,,,er,,,as ordained by that FOOTBALL DaD's decree

Calvinist? Interesting. I suppose you know this offseason was predestined to go this way.I accept the mantle of covetrous Calvinist centrist cavalier cadet.
You shall be proud, harbor ruffian!
Don't fret that much, lad.
We have worse issues such as a QB who prefers to throw 10-yarders to our WRs, a D that suddenly is undermanned, a green OC, a clapping coach, an idiiot GM and a TE corps that will feature the slow and wooden Witten.
Heath is among the least of our worries.
I never got the hate on Heath.

False. Safety is a huge concern with this team. Much more than QB. Heath is garbage. Dak is not garbage.
Lol, no one except NFL coaches, but you and your internet buddies are the ones that know about pro football, right?
It’s idiotic to say he doesn’t belong on an NFL roster. He doesn’t make a lot of impact plays, but he makes a lot of tackles and he doesn’t get beat deep. At the very least he is a solid backup safety and good special teams player.
The way he plays I don't think he knows when it does. The season hasn’t started yet.
I naturally didn’t really mean he never, ever gets beat, but the Cowboys were 7th in the NFL at preventing deep passes, and that can’t happen if the safeties are getting burned deep frequently.I'm not one of the Heath haters, I think he's average at best, but he does get beat deep. In the playoff game against Seattle Tyler Lockett ran right past him for the deep play when Seattle had no time outs. Heath was in position to start the play and I don't know what distracted him. The corner was playing underneath because Heath was over the top. Heath isn't usually that bad. But on that play there was no reason for him to ignore the left side of the offense especially when there wasn't a TE. Like I said, I don't know what drew his attention, but if it was the RB over the middle that was a big mistake. Especially considering the situation at the time.
He's underrated. Not the greatest Safety on the planet, but he's made plays and he's solid on special teams. You need football players like Jeff heat on your team. That's how you win in this league. You can't have money players at every position you need those Bill Bates type guys
