I wasn't big on the signing at first, but for what they're ultimately paying him, it's a good deal. And now they've totally revamped and improved their overall receiving corps from just two years ago. Dez- Terrance Williams- Beasley, all gone. And I have to feel that this trio is better than what they had then, at least from a youth and potential standpoint.
Give the FO credit for getting this done. I know I kill Jerry all the time. We still need to address the Te position. I don’t think Jason Wittten was a logical move.

Beasley is better than Cobb. Hard stop.

The only possible difference is that Cobb can do more outside, but this offense hasn't shown any competency to take advantage of that.

Cole Beasley had one above average year in the NFL.

Cobb has had three seasons better than that.

Doesn't matter.

If you have 3rd and 6, and your slot is in man-to-man, Beasley is the guy you choose very time.

You clearly said Linehan, who was the play caller

I think he was trying to imply that Garrett inhibited the great Linehan from crafting his beautiful vision.

By the way, anyone know who quickly scooped up the genius of Scott Linehan? I'm sure it must have happened immediately, but I never saw who benefitted from our mistake?

Anyone know where he's working now?

Name me 3 receiver sets that are better today on paper.

Odell, Landry, Callaway?

Woods, Cook, Kupp?
Jones, Ridley, Sanu?

I mean I like our three (not disputing that), but there are trios that have put up better numbers just a season ago. Of course its all opinion, however on paper there are several that you could consider.

A lot of people seem to be thinking that we have signed the Randall Cobb of five years back!

The guy is a walking hospital sadly.

I heard he was standing in the unemployed line waiting on his check

I will say they clearly botched it on the Cowboys biggest weakness.

Biggest weakness is safety.
Hard to know that yet.

We have the draft..

Cuts after the draft from other teams..

June 1st cuts due to cap casualties..

TC possibility at trades..

Let's see what happens.

It's a win-win situation for the Cowboys on this deal.

Cobb > Beasley

Don't need to draft a WR this draft. And we can develop WR like Noah Brown and Cedric Wilson. Top 3 of Cooper, Gallup and Cobb is hard to beat in the NFL today when it comes to a WR set. Even with Cobb's recent injury history. Name me 3 receiver sets that are better today on paper.

None.
I thought I would be able to come back and hit you with a ham bone, but after taking a good look at the entire leagues depth chart, New Orleans, Rams, ATL, Pittsburgh(even with losing AB), maybe even Cleveland now with OBJ, you are pretty accurate.
We are in that group now with Cobb.

Our 3 haven't had a season together so how did other trios put up better stats?
