I would go in order of happening

McDowell ... perfect kind of signing

Quinn ... were likely bidding against ourselves. A 3rd is steep

Berry ... I see him going somewhere else for a cheap prove it deal

These 3 potential signings would dramatically change the complexion of the offseason.

Odds of all 3 being signed 2 percent.

Odds that 2 of them are signed 25 percent.

Odds that one of them is signed. 50 percent.

In order of most likely to happen.

Quinn
McDowell
Berry

Someone is about to inform you that this is a duplicate thread and that you did it on purpose.

I dont think NO is gonna have a ton of interest in Quinn. They have their pass rushers and Quinn is going extended after the trade. At least that is what Dallas is preparing for. I think NO is doing diligence to see if its a potential value move

I would imagine safety would have to be addressed in the draft. It would appear that they don't like Boston or any of the others.

If the 2 percent happens and they signed all 3 they could go into the draft with a pure BPA approach because they would have no holes.

No chance we get all 3. McDowell may not be healthy enough for us to pull the trigger and Quinn could end up being
to expensive for us to pursue. Berry may never be healthy enough for us to take a chance on. He is just like Sean Lee.

70% none sign
50% McDowell only
30% Quinn signs/trade
1% Berry signs

McDowell may have too much damage.
Quinn requires most $ n resources.
Berry will simply sign elsewhere.

Are those your odds Houston or Vegas odds? If your odds, it's an opinion. If Vegas odds, some folks will bet on anything. The odds of me betting, 0%

I've read that McDowell is a bit of a locker room cancer. Given a choice, which I'm not, it wouldn't be him. On the other hand there is Berry, a team guy and great in the locker room but he has only played 4 games in the last two years, so it wouldn't be him either.

I'll go with Quinn in some sort of trade with the Fins swallowing some of his contract cost for 2019. Don't ask me what I would use for trade bait. Maybe Jeff Heath straight up ;)

I would like to see us sign all three. Quinn would be #1 on the list for me because of the Gregory suspension. Then McDowell if healthy because his upside is so great especially at the 3 tech spot and if he is that good he and Quinn would take pressure off of the DBs. Would like Eric Berry if he is the old Berry because putting him in the box with Woods at FS would create a great combo.

To me, those three gives us a chance for not a good defense but a great defense assuming the front office gets Lawrence resigned.

I don’t get all the excitement abour Berry. When we didn’t get Sherman it was “he’s been hurt the past two seasons anyways”. Now we got interest in a guy that’s played a handful of games in the past couple of years and all of the sudden it would be a “huge” signing?

How about we wait at least 10-12 games to make that determination. As of right now, he’s nothing but a great player when he plays which has been a joke.

Still no word on any of these 3 I guess.

The plan probably was to show a little interest early and then if they don't get interest elsewhere we can scoop them up for a pop and a bag of chips.
