If Tank gets traded:
1. Who becomes the emotional leader on the team, Witten?
2. It would be the New England thing to do
3. What type of message would it send to the current players?

Certainly would be a NE thing to do. Only thing is they don’t have the coach that can pull off getting rid of talent and still winning. Hell I’m not sure they have the coach that can win with talent either so there’s that.

I think the message sent if you want to get paid
Get yourself ready to play
I want Tank to stay but he’s drug out the shoulder and I honestly don’t get why
It’s simple surgery and he’s gonna get paid but he has to be physically able to play if he wants to get paid by any team
Think of his options
Sit out, lose 20 million dollars
He only has 3 option
Sign the tag
Sign a deal
Stay home and lose 20 million
I will try and splain it, lucy. By not getting the surgery he lessens his value to other teams, hampering the cowboys ability to trade him. In effect, he's attempting to force the cowboys to sign him since trade options are limited. If they don't sign him, he can always sign the tag and be guaranteed 20.5 million for this year. Then play this game again next year, assuming he plays well.

Your posts serve as a lesson to children who don't want to work hard and study in school. Dropout 101. Only a life of failure after failure could lead to such unhappiness.
You’re obviously speaking about yourself and not me.

As far as him being a professional athlete, he need his surgically repaired. Torn labrums stay torn unless surgically repaired. Yep. I Googled it.
Maybe. Point is not all of those type injuries require surgery. It all depends on the severity.

I have been in Lawrence’s camp and want him back.

But his refusal to get surgery is now getting close to putting him in range of not being ready for the season.

And that’s going to hurt him with other teams if we trade him.

He’s getting ****** advice from his agent. They seem to think that the Cowboys will buckle in order to make sure he gets the surgery in time.

DLaw has a torn labrum which severely restricts movement of his arm.

He needs to have surgery to fix it, but he doesn't want to have the surgery until he signs a new long term contract.

Jerry aint playing that, if he is going to dish out top 5 money then he wants a player in tip top physical shape, which DLaw is not. See above.

Bottom line...……..Jerry aint doing a long term deal until DLaw gets his shoulder operated on...…...that's the big takeaway message here.

As I said it seems to be a stand off. Lawrence wants his contract before surgery, Jerry wants a successful surgery before giving a contract.

Lawrence won’t win this on his terms
