Not always. Irvin and Dak were leaders and emotional leaders. Dez was just emotional. Wouldnt call him a leader by any stretch of the imagination. From my memory, he often was emotional when things were going bad.

This is a silly negotiation ploy. He didn’t factor in that the Cowboys could wait him out. At some point he hurts himself by not getting the surgery. Either he plays lame under the tag and hurts his chances of landing a big payday next year or he starts to limit his value on a long-term deal by raising real concern over missed time.

That's not how this works.

sounds right plus ill add what is holding the contract up is the first yr of the contract language and im betting it has a ton of bonus escalators that will make up 80% of his salary depending on snaps and games and thats the sticking point..Tank is and was wrong to not have the surgery within 30days of the last game..not man agree with this decsions..
