People for years wondering if we can get a pass rush. Now want to trade a young pro bowler because he wants to get paid.

Y'all are trash.
He doesn't want to get paid......37m for 2 years is paid

6/140m is Aaron Rodgers

You would, but where has Dallas prioritized the money? Yes he's earned money,
.

I just wanted to point out that dallas has already paid him 22 million. If he takes the Tag it will be 42 million. I am just disputing earned because he has already been paid.

Just remember. If Adam Schefter has not verified it, it has not happened.

You are forgetting a few things. Signing lawrence to 23 mil per will limit the ability to sign others. If Dlaw is traded then we will have more draft capital.
It's not Quinn and Ogbah vs DLAW it is Quinn, Ogbah, Whomever we could draft with the picks, the ability to sign every other FA we have and maybe even add a Mccoy or Suh etc. VS Dlaw.
Plus he is looking like a bit of a ****** to me right now.

I prefer to just let the negotiations play out. Fans right now are griping about his demands when we don't even really know what he's seeking, sending him away for as little as a second-round pick, thinking we can replace him with cripples or players with much poorer production, etc. It's all a bit silly.

Dallas is not going to handicap its cap and it's not going to get Lawrence for less than what he would be worth on the market, which is quite a bit. Lawrence is easily the best defensive lineman on this team and he will be paid like it. It would probably be better if the team said nothing publicly about the negotiations because there is going to be push and shove likely until the sides reach the point where a deal has to get done.

I guess the same people wanting to cut or trade Lawrence would have wanted to do the same with Emmitt Smith back in the day when he held out to have his contract redone.

Quinn isn't a full time replacement for Lawrence. Really would be best as the replacement for Gregory in a rotation.

And that's what his role will be. Probably Crawford or Charlton (if he steps up) will play right end on clear running downs.

Let’s hope they get a deal done with Lawrence and in time for him to have surgery without missing games.

Either that's going to dictate the timing or Lawrence will blink and get the surgery when he has to in order to be ready for the season.

The market for back to back pro bowl edge rushers is 37mm for 2 years?

For that matter the market for the best qb in football is 6/140?

I'm trying to keep it real.. You're not even being realistic

It's better than nothing but it just puts us back to the same defense as last year. Assuming they keep tank.
