Iloka costs nothing. 300k gtd. Totally cuttable. Having him on the roster won't keep us from signing anyone else. Probably the same with Frazier. Maybe moreso.

I think Berry is still in play for us, and the longer he doesn't sign with anyone, the more likely he comes here.

He was my #1 option in front of Sean Lee in the 2010 draft. Loved his play at GTech.

IMO he still can be an effective safety, competing in with George Iloka.

IIRC he wanted to be released cause he wanted to play safety more and not dime LB.

At this point in his career I don’t know if that’s certain, but even if he would be, the team already picked up a safety, and already have dollars committed to the returning safeties, so they can’t keep adding more and more safeties.

Bring him for a workout. Couldn't hurt. And, never can have enough good or great at one time players. Said Heath never before in his life.

I don't think we will see much movement until after the draft. Maybe a few low level signings. But the team is probably getting more focused on the draft and any possible UDFA's after the draft.

Then after a few OTA's, there may be some movement as if Burnett is still out there, possibly McDowel if he clears. Maybe Rod Smith brought back.
Then another push after June mini camp and before TC, for such players like Suh if still out there. If no one drafted at DT. Which they better draft one.

The only other safety I'll pick up in the FA market is EB. Other than that I don't see an upgrade. The Cowboys Chad their chance to pick up a starting, quality S.
