Going to Mexico on a bender and disappearing the day before the Superbowl, might have an affect on the field. Or getting arrested for soliciting an undercover cop the night before the Super Bowl, might also affect play on the field.

This is an emotional game this game of football. Charles Haley is the best example I can use. He could change the atmosphere of a game 5 minutes before they played. I guess that's the point I was trying to get across

What about Donovan McNabb LOL drinking the night before. That definitely affected him in the fourth quarter

I guess that's why you shouldn't pay big money to have a professional speaker motivator coming before a game that actually never helps. I actually forgot what game it was this season when the fighter I believe Conor McGregor , came in and motivated the team Swagger. I guess that didn't help either.. make no mistake about it the locker room can set the pace for the entire day
