He ran a 4.69 forty at 286 pounds. In game footage he looks strong but he runs funny and his movements look a bit awkward but he manages to get pressure and is strong against the run.

You think they like him as a DE or 3 tech? I am guessing 3 tech with some position flex. A possible later round steal. IMO

UDFA me thinks..or late rounder. No harm in priming the pump on those UDFA ...he would be a good dude to bring in for a try out after the draft if he goes undrafted.

After watching a bit of Cominsky I see why they are taking a good look at him, like a few DL DAL has acquired he's probably better as a 5tech, but for this team I see him playing LDE and 3Tech (primarily).

Cominsky needs more strength and technique work (hand-fighting, pad level [too high]). That's why I prefer Zach Allen for this type of player, but I see the thought process on Cominsky in a later round.

I don’t see Cominsky’s athleticism translate on the field. A guy that size with that athleticism should be dominating at that level of competition IMO.

Agreed.

He doesn't look like a natural DE on film, so will likely have to slide inside.

Marcus Mosher just said on Twitter that the Cowboys like Cominsky a lot and that if he's there in the 4th, he's a lock.
