Correct.

The only difference between the Cowboys and Eagles schedule is two games.

Cowboys: Rams and Saints
Eagles: Seahawks and Falcons.

Not that much of a huge difference in difficulty level.

Us at the Saints vs. them at the Falcons is probably close to a wash. Them getting the Seahawks at home vs. us with the Rams at home probably favors them - we haven't seemed to match up wall against the Rams because of their ability to run the ball. Maybe it'll be different this year.

Miss Foles?.....BBBBut, they have the mighty "Wents"..........I hear he's the greatest ever.....yep, heard it right here......Maybe Dak should slack off a bit, so he can catch up.

I don't see how the team that should have been in the Super Bowl in the Saints vs one that didn't even make the playoffs is a wash. To say nothing of the huge advantage the Saints have at home.

But this isn't Groundhog Day and they're playing last year all over again. Offensively, I just don't see there is that much difference between the Saints and the Falcons. The Saints probably have a better defense, though, but that remains to be seen this year. As far as home advantage, maybe NO is a harder place to play, but the point to me is that both the Eagles at the Falcons and the Cowboys at the Saints are probably losses for both visiting teams.

What else would you go by? Magic 8-ball?

I don't consider the games nearly as tough, or anything close to "a wash".

The Saints rightfully should have been in and possibly won the Super Bowl. The Falcons didn't even qualify.

I think the Saints are going to tumble this year.

Actually, I consulted Madam Rue. You know, that gypsy with the gold-capped tooth?

And they might not have even been playing the Rams had Alshon Jeffrey not dropped the pass the previous week. It is extremely difficult in today's NFL to sustain year over year. FA, injuries, matchups and just plain luck all have significant impact on a team's results. It is very likely NO backs up some. They certainly didn't play at the same level last year in December and beyond as they had earlier in the year.

Shannon Sharpe should give back his paycheck for that show. I know his "schtick" is to bash the Cowboys, but he needs to at least put forth minimal effort in doing it. He brought nothing to that entire segment and did nothing but embarrass himself.

He has to be this way to offset Skip's Cowboys fandom. The show would not work otherwise, since 25% of their daily content is Cowboys related and drives whatever ratings they do get...

You and I both know that he’s paid to play that contrarian card.
If those two agreed on everything, the show would off the air in a month.

Idk @stasheroo. The falcons were one of the best teams in the conference for years and a major reason they underwhelmed last year is because their defense was decimated with serious injuries to key players.

The reality is, nobody knows how tough each team will be until we face them. We can only project. But several teams every season are killed by injuries. Who knows which teams will get struck this year and when?

Shoot the cowboys could lose Zeke and Cooper and Dak for large stretches, making who we play moot because the cowboys themselves will suck.
Who knows?

Either way, there’s only two games out of 16 where we face different teams.

I will say going to New Orleans is never an easy draw.

Yeah, like I said, i know what his "schtick" and his gimmick is, but at least bring something to the table. Make one salient, well-thought-out point. That's what he's actually paid for. He failed to earn his money here.

I'm just glad he is NOT on the NFL channel on Sirius any longer.... if I had to hear him say "BUT POPA" one more time I would have gouged out my own eye sockets.

Based on the prior season's results (what else is there?), all 32 teams play 4 games vs. 1st place teams, 4 games vs. 2nd place teams, 4 games vs. 3rd place teams, and 4 games vs. 4th place teams.

Yup.

But that "first place schedule" though! LOL
