If their is anyone on this roster that has earned a big contract, it's Elliott. He's the most likely to play up to the expectations of a big contract.

I don't pay RBs big contracts, regardless of how good Elliott has looked to date.

I think it's bad roster management and cap management to give a TB a massive long term contract.

Going year to year and giving Zeke a 4/60m extension are pretty even

Of course you don't pay RBs big contracts. No one has empowered you to make those decisions and you don't have the resources. You are just a guy with a philosophy worth no more than anyone else's around here... about 2 cents. How much do you want to bet Elliott gets a big contract? Why do the guys that have been empowered to make that decision and have the resources, disagree with your philosophy? Because they are smarter.

Elliott has 2 years left on his deal. Rushing to extend him is a bad idea. I’d try to extend Jaylon, Cooper and Dak before I approach Zeke.

But I agree with getting Cooper done and waiting on Dak and Jaylon until either mid season or next offseason. We need to see a little more from both of them before I’m comfortable shelling out big bucks long term to either of them. With Jaylon it’s a health issue, with Dak it’s an ability issue.

Such arrogance, your eminence.

Khalil Mack's contract only had a cap hit of 26 Million for the first two years, and DLaw isn't getting Khalil Mack money.
If he does our owner is more than just drunk...

Yeah sure, if a dose of reality is rude. If you overvalue your own opinion and think others should feel the same way about it, sure. But otherwise hell no it wasn't rude. People need to stop overvaluing what they think in this world as it relates to what everyone else thinks in this world. When you have no respect for what others think and insist your own opinion matter, that is what is rude.
