Todd archer (ESPN) says with the Lawrence signing the Cowboys are now Superbowl contenders. If Travis Frederick returns to Pro bowl form and Connor William's improves his size and strength the offensive line will be better and we will have depth. Robert Quinn is going to add a ton of speed and marinelli will get the best pit of him. Cobb along with an improved Gallup and Amari Cooper are going to be fun to watch. Zeke is Zeke. Dak had like 14 TDs after cooper arrived imagine a whole season. LVE and Smith will be better. We will have a very food season especially with a strong draft.

I like the additions, especially Quinn as a complementary pass rusher to Tank, but I'd feel better if we weren't going with a novice OC in Kellen Moore. Absolutely no reason we couldn't have gone out and gotten a viable play caller and let Moore learn some more as the QB coach.

The draft is gravy now. We could add a ballhawk free safety, a disruptive d tackle, dangerous TE, etc.

I have two words for you...JASON GARRETT. Still need a Head Coach. He should do like Parcells and walk away.

I hear you. I kinda of like that they are going out on a limb to let a young guy stretch out. I trust that he has high potential. Its exciting. I want to see what K. Moore can bring to the table.

Who is the worst HC to ever win a Super Bowl?

Switzer doesn't count....he was simply asked to continue his retirement in Dallas to prove Jerry's point, he was never brought in here to coach.

The Jones family can try to build the perfect team all they want but the real weakness will always get in the way at the end of the day....it has been that way since Jimmy bought his boat.

DLaw was not the key to being a SB contender, so no, his signing does not put the Cowboys over the top. What might get them there may depend on what happens in the coming draft. Shoring up the middle of the defensive line would be a welcome move along with getting better talent at safety. On the offensive side of the ball, a WR and a RB to better our depth at those positions is much needed. These are the things that can make or break this coming season.

We're right on the fringe. Get a 1T and a better safety, and I'd say that we should be able to win the Super Bowl with this roster.

I will say it again because I am a gluten for punishment, but right after the SB this past few months ago, I felt that Dallas would win the next one. I felt it enough to actually mention it on one of these threads somewhere. *gulp* so, I am sticking to my guns. I honestly think Dallas will be SB Champs this year. Weird I know but......

A lot of people seem to forget that there’s 31 other teams in the league and with a few exceptions, most of them are “improving” their roster as well. If the Eagles stay healthy they may be better than last year. The Commanders will probably still suck but they were also decimated by injuries last year. The Giants may actually be decent, they’ll definitely be better than last year. Why don’t we concentrate on winning the NFCE before this nonsense Super Bowl talk.

Get back to this question midway through the season and we’ll at least have a small idea if it’s possible but even then it won’t be easy to predict.

They are, but we still have Garrett. Moore will be the X factor.

Not quite, but we are closer. Let's see how this season shakes out after the draft and with KM as OC.
