i'm just glad he's signed. certainly he's a keystone/cornerstone of our d-line. seems a good sort to me. he talks the talk, he walks the walk. congratulations to Lawrence and Stephen in getting the job done. bodes well for the cowboys.

If it's not next year it will probably be the year after. You don't really believe we've heard the last of it. We'll save this post and drag it up again in a couple of years.
Dude bet on himself and won, a prove it deal, now fans dont want the team to pay up. Get over it this is the business end of the NFL.

Give me the NFL of the 1960's & 1970's when players played to win championships and the love of the game of football. Today is not about team, winning and the love of football.
It is all about me...me, social media and MONEY. Look at player's salaries and pensions back in those days and the punishment they still deal with and then just shake your head
at the self-centered, selfish players of today. That is all players, except those on the NE express. They are about winning SB's period.

In other words, I liked it when I could still look down on athletes because I was higher up on the ladder than they were. But now that they're higher, then the "moral failure" cards start coming out to "even the ego score." Newsflash: it's still not even except in your own mind to sleep better at night. At least you're sleeping well.

Paid yes...pampered NO! Personally, I would rather pay our military men and especially special forces much more money than NFL players. They sacrifice everything for our freedom and welfare...not just
playing a game on Sunday.

Start a movement of citizens willing to double their taxes to pay the military more. Let's see how far it gets beyond the cheap chest-thumping, "I'm such a great guy with 'proper' priorities" talk.

Military pay has zero to do with NFL pay.

It’s just nonsense.

You’re free to donate as much as you want to organizations that benefit members of the military. Nobody is stopping you.

Wrong. The guy was making a point to not put athletes on a pedestal. I agree. I actually do donate to Wounded Warriors and the SEAL Foundation. Those are real heroes. Not the guys that play football. Those guys are entertainers.

Football players get paid as much as they do because very few people can play at their level - the level they entertain allows them to get paid as much as they do.

But yes, our military men and women deserve to be paid more.

His “point” was dumb. Him believing the military should be paid more, has nothing to do with what NFL players make. They have nothing to do with one another. Zip, zilch, nada.

You’re free to give money to military members. You’re free to stop watching the NFL.

Look Rip Van Winkle unless you have been sleeping the last 30 years you would know his comment is a common societal comment. Very common. You can disagree and that is fine but to say it was a dumb comment makes you look as stupid as the troller of trolls guy. Your posts are usually real good so you are not that guy.

I dont see why some fans have their panties in a bunch over this.

DLaw had a great season in 2017...……...team franchised him and told him to "do it again, you might be a one year wonder".

So DLaw went out in 2018 and had another great season...……..told the team to "pay me my money".

Team said ok, here is your $100 million...………….Tank now celebrating...………….so what exactly is the problem here???

We collectively have the dumbest fanbase in all of sports.
