Which roster is better - Dallas or Philly?

Scheme does matter. If it didn't matter Kris would not have a "type".

Scheme doesn’t matter in the context of who has better safeties. And frankly, we don’t seem to have Richard’s ideal SS when you look at Heath.

In no rational world is Heath and Woods as good as Jenkins and McLeod. You even admitted Jenkins is much better than anyone we have.

Your assessment is very accurate.

Amari Cooper is far better than Alshon Jeffery.
Thanks. I think so, too, but this buddy of mine seems to have an unnatural love of Jeffrey. He's not a bad receiver, but he hasn't done all that much for years.

The only spot where Philly is CLEARLY better than Dallas is DT.

One could argue TE, S, Kicker, and (because you WILL) coaching staff.

Everything else, the Cowboys are better.
I don't think you can argue TE. Ertz is one of the best in the league. Witten USED to be one of the best in the league ... a number of years ago.

We’ll see how Cooper continues. He had a couple off games for us last year. Remember he fell off enough the Raiders wanted to trade him.

Overall their receiving Corp is better IMO.

Witten back and Randall Cobb could uplift us though. I’m talking about last year.

Based on the admittedly small sample size of games he played in Dallas, it appears his problems may have had a lot to do with the Raiders' QB.

Jenkins is an excellent player. How our safeties in conjunction with our corners was better than what the Eagles secondary did at any point last year.

They definitely lose now if Wentz goes down. But before he got hurt led Egirls to 11 -2 record on a MVP pace.

With our roster and an elite prolific passer like Wentz Cowboys become instant serious contenders.

We’d be like Chiefs or Rams.

Wentz was 5-6 last year though. Im not sure he puts us over the top. As you know the eagles didn't get going until Foles came in...

One it’s pro football focus.

Two, they had a ton of injuries last year. The premise here is if everyone is healthy. And if everyone is healthy the Eagles have better safeties and their pass D overall is probably similar, if not better, because of better safety play.

They played a ton of games last year with no McLeod and no Ronald Darby.

McLoed and Darby does not ring fear to any OC or player. I do give them the edge overall if all healthy. But not by much.

I hear ya but 4-3 with Foles wasnt a significant change.

I’d sure like to see what our offense could be with a prolific passer .

Coach and Front office should be included.

That obviously tips the scale so far in Phillys favour that it makes me upset to think about it

Coach - philly by a country mile
FO - philly by a city mile

A mile is still a mile no matter in the city or in the country.
But the coaching really is not that far apart. I mean we did beat them twice last season and won the division.
So last year our coaches were better, though the year before their coaches were better.

I find it curious how you didn’t mention Wentz’ record from last season.

Wentz is probably a bit better when healthy. But his health is a major question mark.

If Nate sudfeld is starting games for the eagles. They have problems.
