Dirk is my favorite athlete and I'm that big of a basketball fan.

He's probably the greatest athlete in Dallas sports history and top 2 in terms of iconic status.

Dirk wasn't the problem with those teams. Plus the Western Conference was an absolute beast back then.

His favorite players growing up were Charles Barkley, Scottie Pippen, Larry Bird, Shawn Kemp, and Detlef Schrempf.

They all showed up for the post game ceremony, and spoke at center court.

Amazing.
