I don't think he called you one of those unruly fans. He said you simply are an Eagles propaganda machine.

Which doesn't appear to be false when you say things like Nate Sudfeld made Foles expendable.

And I never said I wasn't. Toot toot

Eagles propaganda? Your posters defame your team better than I ever could. And you know that's the truth. I'm probably one of the lighter spirited posters when it comes to Cowboys football.

Really? Is that what you think?

You’re not one of our own.

You downplay every advantage Dallas has, and you overstate every advantage Philly has.

Dallas has the youngest team, so you say it’s no big deal. You then say Dallas is getting older, citing Quinn, Cobb, etc. even though they’re all still considered pretty young with none in their 30’s.

If Dak has 45 TD’s you’ll round it to 40. If Wentz has 45 you’ll round it to 50.

Pretty much garden variety homerism, no big deal... but you’re not fooling anyone. And your “woe is me” victim act grows tiresome.

I’ll give you this though: at least you didn’t come here acting like a Dallas fan like so many do. You stand up for the team you follow and that’s commendable.

I think most observers would disagree with your assessment of the two teams’ offseason here. Not to mention we swept you, and the teams weren’t starting on an even foothold. I think the Eagles have gotten worse this offseason, for the record. Though you do still have the advantage in the draft with the first round pick that we had last year already.
What makes u think the eagles have gotten worse?
Connor Williams was higher on the cowboys draft board and was going to be the pick regardless.
Was he? Do you have a picture of their draft board to confirm. What did you expect them to say? Damn, the Eagles snookered us. After the draft every team says they got the player they targeted. Unfortunately neither of us knows how they had the players ranked. My opinion is they have a bigger need at TE than OL. The Eagles traded up to get him because they believed someone would take him before their pick. Was it the cowboys, I don't know for sure, but when I put my context clues together, jumping in front of the cowboys who had a need for TE makes a lot of sense.

It's an awful lot of pressure on a young quarterback.
  1. He has to stay healthy, which to date he has been unable to do.
  2. He has to win over his teammates who weren't behind him and have negative feelings about him
  3. He has to measure up to the high standards for winning that Foles left behind.
  4. He'll have to deal with constant comparisons to what Foles did.
  5. He will need to validate to the organization that he is worth the big contract extension.
I can't think of a quarterback in the league under more pressure than Wentz.

At least Wentz won't have to see all the Foles billboards while driving in to work, or see a Foles Shrine set up in the locker room anymore. He will still have that Foles statue outside the stadium, silently judging him, silently reminding fans who the real QB hero was............ :muttley:

So I was in Philadelphia for a weekend and was listening to 94 WIP, and they were talking about this. Then one caller called in and said he is a red head and people with red hair heal slower and have a lower tolerance for pain. Seems completely ridiculous but then I googled on it and - wouldn't you know it - it's true!

Really crazy.

That’s only half true. Dak would never have 45 tds

Yep. I've seen it too. Hides and takes shot at the Cowboys while pimping his Eagles at every turn and then wants to play "victim".

I guess he thinks that everyone else doesn't see it?

At least some opposing fans have the gumption to just

Do you have any proof that Dallas wanted to draft Goedert? No.

Reports after the draft from media members who know the team well, are that the cowboys preferred Connor anyway. That’s more proof than anything you have, yet you still decided to pull crap out of your behind to try and talk a little smack. No big deal but you have no leg to stand on with it. So it’s really just complete nonsense on your part.

The cowboys aren’t the only team with a TE need the eagles jumped.

The cowboys had a big need at starting guard goin the into the draft. Hence why Connor started from game 1. You would know that, if you knew what the heck you’re talking about. But you don’t, which is why you foolishly assumed the cowboys needed a TE more than a guard.
The eagles also traded up in the second round to take a TE to be their back up TE. Wow such a genius move on their part.

It remains to be seen who ends up being the better player.

I think the losses of Bennett, Foles, Tate, Hicks, Ajayi, Jernigan, Wisnewski, Ngata, and Sproles are more significant than the signings of Jackson and Jackson, et. al. Malik Jackson was a great signing, though.

Mostly, I think your QB is injury prone, and your team played better for his backup when the chips were down, anyway. I think Wentz misses any time at all and your fanbase will turn on him immediately. Until that happens, they'll insist it won't and that it's crazy talk, but when he's on the carpet, the boos wills start and we'll see Philly being Philly again.

From your dumb comment that the reason the Eagles let Foles walk was because they had Nate Sudfeld.

That's not why they let Foles walk.

I'll put it another way............ if Nick Foles decided this offseason that he just wanted to finish out his career as a backup and would take $7-10MM per year to do that in Philly.................. he'd be in an Eagles uniform right now and the next great thing, Nate Sudfeld, would be figuring out which Eagles ball cap he'll be wearing this season as the de-activated #3 QB.
Sydia, AC already made this point. No need to beat up the guy.

I don’t understand the obsession with Wentz. He plays for the Eagles, great. Why do some of you have this huge pissing contest between him and Dak? So Jerry got lucky and the Eagles may or may not have wasted a 1st round pick on their QB. Going on 7 pages about a QB that has nothing to do with our team. Please enlighten me.
