If this is about value, then it's Romo. He cost us no draft picks so not only does he bring a stellar career but he allows us to take another player with the pick we didn't have to use.

Getting pro bowler with a first round pick is pretty much what you would expect. Getting a franchise QB with a 4th round pick is rare.

I would say that getting an all time great like Larry Allen with a 3rd rounder is up there for me. He was probably the best guard of all time.

Of course they had weapons. And look what they did with those weapons. That’s the difference in Elite QB’s. They play for and win championships with weapons.

Allen was a 2nd round pick. 46th overall.

He dropped in the draft because of rotator cuff injury and small school as no one had ever been drafted from Sonoma St.

It’s really easy to google info before posting it incorrectly.

Danny White was a 3rd round pick who started for 3 Cowboy championship appearance teams.

And don’t forget Roger Staubach was a 10th round pick after going to Navy for service after school.
